I know what you are saying, in fact I already said earlier that Bellamy isn't convinving me and I don't believe 1/2 the things he says, but i stil dnt see who he is going to sign for instead of Celtic. I mean Chelsea, Arsenal and MANU aren't going to want or need him, maybe Liverpool but I can't see that happenin either, anyone else is a step down as far as I can see, and champs league football is a big temptation.

Unless he joins Chelsea, Arsenal or Man Utd, he's got no chance of winning league championships AND playing Champions League football. I really couldnt care less if Bellamy stays or not. I refuse to allow myself to be sucked into the monopoly game of playing with supporters emotions and witnessing another let down.

If the guy would be left alone to play football, he might decide in about 2 months that he has or has not a future at CP.

Either way, as long as he earns his crust whilst at CP, I wish him a fair wind whatever his decision.

Players are no longer prepared to really commit to clubs for any certain time period - they come and go as they please and contracts seem to mean * all. As long as a player is pulling on the shirt and putting in a fair performance we should only look to the next game. IMO the same goes for managers, and possibly boards of directors - why worry about whats going to happen next season, or when Bellamy goes, or when MON leaves - my only concern is beating the jambos two weeks on the bounce.

After the dundee utd game bellamy said in his own words that he wanted to "be in a position where celtic wanted to sign him" i think that seems fair enough. he also said that the next contact he got (next season and so forth...) would be the most important of his career. He's just turning 26 and he said himself that he HAD to be playing Champions League football! Unless he leave the UK, his options would therefore be... Chelsea, ManU, Arsenal, Liverpool/Everton, Scotlands second team or the mighty hoops. Think you can rule out all of them except for everton or us.

By winning th league it guarntees us CL football. Something that he couldn't be sure of at any other club exept for Chelsea or ManU.
