Are we gonna make one decent signing in four years or is that to much to expect from the board ??

Before you cast your votes have a read of this.

Gotta sign Bellamy he's given the Celts a real boost in attacking play, absolutely fantastic player ! Time for the board to get the chequebooks opened and give Newcastle what they want for him.

o'neill wont go, and bellamy's gonna want to sign...

i hope he does, but i got a feeling the board's gonna make an offer so ridiculously low theres no way he'll stay

christ tho, itd be amazin to have him for the champions league

Why are you's all so quick to beliave Bellamy?

I think he will stay too, but if you read ALL of the interview I think you can see he's not just as desperate to sign as that one quote suggests. He will be a great signing if we get him and I think we will. Him and McGeady together are a frightining prospect for ANY opponents!

    Hail Hail! :50:

  10. i had a quote which sounded more promising in the bellamy thread last night!

No chance. No money to buy him or pay him, no prospects playing is Scotland, and he'll have his choice of EPL clubs (outside the top 3) come the summer.

Yeah I know which 1 you mean, but I have read the whole interview and what I am saying is it's not as promising as that quote makes it out to be.

Think the board should bend over backwards to get bellamy - it would not only secure a first class player - but would signal celtics intention to other players in the next transfer window-with players like bellamy at the club - celtic would look a more attractive option to some - IMO

Couldn't agree more! It's about time they greedy * done something and MON really should offload Juninho and use his wages for Bellamy's.

think that will be his first move in July - IMO MON didn't have anything to do with the brazilians signing - think it was all the board - trying to take the pressure of themselves - hence MON being reluctant to play him

Must be something more into it prob right what you say - although I do think MON looked chuffed at the start of the season getting Juninho. Wotever it is he hasn't worked so get him off the wage bill and make us all happy and sign Bellamy!

As a Tynesider the crack down here is that Bellamy is not comming back to Newcastle, i think freddy shepherd and souness has made that quite clear, but as for him starting celtic at the begining off next season remains to be seen,m theres rumours that the toon are off loading him to Aston Villa for 4 million and nobby silano . so if you ask me he will only stay a celt if nobody else comes up with the goods

Its not like we cant afford it, if we wanted to. But none of this money stuff makes sense...for *'s sake...celtic's one of the top income teams in europe....nd yet the board says we dont have any money?! i dont get it
