Will this be built before or after the hotel and museum?

Been in the works for ages, think covid and building costs put it on the back burner a bit but we had planning permission and site surveys done a couple of years ago.

    Long overdue..

An up to scratch training centre that has everything for every team we have..

Lennoxtown was good and looked great but we don't even have an indoor pitch there do we?

When it's built, I'm going to try to be the first fan to sit in it.

I don't know why we have them at Airdrie, their 3g pitch is * and can't be good for development.
Be good to have a ground they can call home though.

Think there is an indoor plastic pitch but not sure how big it is.

If we really want to take the next big step for our youth set up & future then this needs to happen as soon as possible, state of the art facilities with everything needed right next to Celtic park. Would be massive.

We have one but it’s tiny, think it’s like a 7 a side pitch. A club of our size should have all the needed stuff for our teams as you say.

Would be great news if true. The money made from this campaign and the one coming up should be a big boost to our infrastructure across the club, given our lack of debt.

There’s actually very little need to have a full sized indoor training pitch (although I always did find it weird that we don’t have one). The only time we’d really ever use it is pre-season, when we’re outdoors or abroad anyway.

It’s extremely rare for the squad to do any form of drill on that scale as our training is aimed primarily at keeping the tempo high, so even larger sided “games” are played on a smaller area of the pitch.

Fair enough mate and that does make sense..

We have a big squad though so could easily break it up in to smaller groups on it. The rat was very vocal a few year back about the need for one and he was all possession based..

As someone else has said, unsure why we need this more so than an indoor pitch. What's the average attendance for the ladies games, can't be more than a few hundred sure? I don't know much about our development setup, maybe they need better facilities or something.

I think if you have them in Glasgow more will come and gradually it will increase.
