Ahhh that's a different story, the way you worded it he was Barca's outball for counter attacks.

Basically he is good at being Didier Agathe :icon_mrgreen:

Go out all guns blazing and we'll be * murdered:56: As Mr Don D said, it's all about finding the right balance, as sitting far to deep and we'll be battered aswell.

Phrased that wrong mate. I meant we need to try and play football as opposed to just keeping everyone behind the ball.

We could get battered no matter what we do, its Barca we're playing. It's hard to get the ball off them and even harder to keep the ball off them and when they've got the ball they can score with any attack.

The only time I can remember Madrid being around equal in possession to them is the second leg of the Super Cup this season. When Madrid were oustanding and Barca weren't.

In the first leg and the 2 all draw just past, Barca dominated them as they do with every team. This is the 2nd best team in the world as well and they can do nothing but chase and harry them for the majority of the game.

We should be under no illusions on the size of the task ahead of us.

I would be much more scared playing against someone like Madrid, Napoli or Dortmund, now they would really rip us apart.

Barca suit our style perfectly as we just basically do a better version of what SPL teams do to us at CP. Sit back and be organised when they're in possession then break like the wind when we do get it.

So looking forward to Tuesday :celt_2:

Won't be as one-sided as people think. We'll be ok.

This thread shows me the optimism of human nature and also our self delusion.

    Well played lads :icon_mrgreen:

Second part of your post may very well be true but if you think it won't be one sided you are seriously deluding yourself.

Going to be honest,i am dreading this match.

If Barca hit top form,we could be embarrassed and it would be a major kick in the balls after the Spartak win.

This is the first, and maybe only, time I will say this. I would play 5-4-1 on Tuesday.

Very strong midfield we've got! Get the two Barca centre halves turning could be the way to get at them.
Can't wait for this one! HH

If we concede in the first 10-15 minutes I can see us getting pumped but if we don't I think we can keep it respectable.

Barca's defence has been poor recently so you never know, we could nick a goal, just need to get the ball off them first

Would be suicide mate, sitting back so deep suits Barcelona to a T. We need to protect the centre backs, force them wide and push them so they are forced to play infronr of them, on the half way line and try to break.

We will be forced back anyway, we shouldn't sit back and do there job for them. Try and press them, hunt in packs.

Hedman; Agathe, Balde, Valgaeren, Varga, McNamara; Lennon, Petrov, Thompson; Hartson, Sutton.
This team drew 1-1 in the Nou Camp. Five at the back, but this time I would go all-out attack.

Of course it'll be mostly Barcelona, but I've seen some English people say 6,7,8,9,10-0 etc. it won't be anywhere near as bad as that.

I'm really looking forward to this, not expecting much in the way of a positive scoreline but hey,you just never know.I'm going wae the attitude that we'll be collecting zero points from this one so anything gained will be a massive surprise.

Gimme the win Bhoys that'll send shock waves roon' the world of fitba :ynwacelti
