Atmosphere today = Fantastic, THE SONG DEBATE..

The atmosphere today really did put Parkhead to shame. The South Stand Upper was bouncing all throughout the game and I really wonder why this isn't repeated at home. It's a disgrace at home and really needs to change. Thoughts ?

 

amazing what 2 early goals and a carry out before the game can do!

 

Quite a bit of it was to do with the fact that the Green Brigade said last week that they were going to have a big singsong in the south stand upper, and they said if people wanted to join in then just buy tickets for the upper bit of the stand... I bought a ticket for there but gave it to my cousin.. He phoned a wee while ago to say the atmosphere in the upper tier was amazing, they didn't sit in their seats once..

Yes mate , most people up their stood the whole game. If it was at home you'd have been told to sit down

To be fair , the Celtic songs don't exactly get the atmosphere going like the " others ".

 

Yes but supporting the team involves singing and cheering them on. That just doesn't happen at home.

 

wel this is a volitile issue, but there should be no rebel songs sang at cp or away grounds...although the cp singing is more celtic songs.

if we only sang football songs then we wouldn't have.... fields of athenrye, YNWA, let the people sing, this land is your land etc.
