Atmosphere at rapid game..

Have to say it was very disappointing hearing the away fans outsinging the home support for large periods during the game. First time I've heard that in a while. Anyone at the game care to comment? Because it sounded pretty dire from the TV.

 

It's the Europa League not the kind of game that demands a great atmosphere to be fair.

the atmos at parkhead has been pish for a while now .the police and stewards make sure of that . i think a lot of folk are mabey scared of what other people think too. i know when the gb sing stand up if you hate rangers, i would love to but the people behind get * off cos they cant see the game so i tend not too however , i sing my heart out for 90 mins every game. i know people have the choice to sing or not but the atmos wont come back unless everyone makes an effort. you cant really complain about it if you dont contribute. i know people will say they dont sing because the standard of football doesn't get them excited enough but we are all watching the same game. please people, make an effort. we need this club to be back where it belongs , right at the top of the intimidation charts.

 

its because we have nothing to sing about wen were 1-0 down after 5mins and our team is rotten this year

We are not rotten this year, we are playing very well, and yes there are some things need to be improved, but the style of play is miles better that the dross we have watched for the last two years.
TM is building a team, and need a bit of time and a chance to do that.

Lets get behind the team ! Sing loud and proud...We are Celtic!!!

 

We need a proper singing section, where if you stand up to sing your not going to * off fans behind that don't want to take part. The rapid fans really got behind their team last night and it looked class to see them all taking part.

When the cameras scanned the crowd last night to show the Celtic fans singing all you you could see was individuals standing up singing not groups of people.

 

I was at the game and the atmosphere was certainly far from the best.
Would have been better though if more fans had turned up and not watched on tv then come on here to moan about the atmosphere created by the fans who actually did go!

 

That was one of the best away supports that i have seen and heard at Celtic park and they are a credit to there team, however the facts are that the cameras and the mic's are in the old stand nearest them which makes it sound loud. My seat is at the opposite end of the park and yes i could here them but not all the time.

 

I didn't think the Vienna fans were all that vocal - Shakhtar and Sunderland are the best I'v seen in recent years at CP.

 

The atmosphere at CP is almost always *, it's only against the huns and CL games when it isn't.

 

they didn't stop from start to finish. i thought they were fantastic

 

British footballs atmosphere has been crap for years now.

 

The Away support is better always has been our home support seems to get quieter every game it's a shame that it's came to that but its the fans choice.

 

been going to celtic park for 30 years now and the atmosphere gets worse every season,apart from the green brigade and jungle bhoys who try their hardest but are fighting a losing battle,where i sit the fans are a joke they come in 10 mins after game has started,get up at about 35 mins to get a burger and * off with 20 mins to go,these people are not fans,* i miss the jungle

It's always the same though if we're getting beat. The fans need to get behind the team at all times, winning, losing or drawing. The players are not going to get much out of us giving them a hard time when they're 1-0 down. I know it's hard to get up and make noise when we're getting beat and not playing well but it has to be done.

 

The rapid fans embarassed us . The GB and other should have been taking notes . They were superb

 

even the old firm atmospheres have been pish for a while. strathclyde police should * off and deal with criminals instead of supporters singing songs and waving flags.

 

i sit there and to be fair they sing from start to finish . apart from feeling the need to introduce their political agendas all the time they are about the only contributers to the atmosphere and for this they should be applauded. well done bhoys
