Artur Boruc : one of the greatest goalkeepers in Great Britain...

Tonight Artur Boruc was truly important for the Bhoys...he saved a lot of actions by the Blues...so I believe that in Great Britain is the one, if not the best, of the greatest goalkeepers now...

 

I didny see the game but he is the best kepper we have had in a while. I think he's goin to save us alot this season

 

i know its weird to say we have a great goalkeeper cos tht something in recent history tht celtic has never had and although i've not seen tonights game yet it will only be an example of the sort of stuff we will see from him in the CL this season and also you can tell he is a big personality in the dressing room

yeah agree with that. I also like the fact that he is not afraid to let the defense know its time to get the finger out.

 

Boruc is class. Hopefully the defence strengthens in front of him and we can build from there

yea hope so its somethin we've not had for as long as i can remember, a comanding keeper and reliable sure he made some slip ups but what keeper hasnt and he didnt cost us alot of money either

 

I saw the game against Chelsea, Kilmarnock and Hearts, Boruc is a good goalie, but not as good as some people are making out.
The free kick Chelsea took it bounced off his chest that was DANGEROUS, at the start of the game he put the ball out of play when it was an easy pass back to clear, he was slow on going down for their goal, he had a verygood game otherwise, and I am glad we have him.
We are a weak squad so its hard to judge Boruc, however in the last three games now he and Celtic have conceded four goals.
Chelsea were NOT lethal tonight, so again its hard to judge.

 

yes i would say he could be the best in britain if he commands in the box more he commands the defence but he does'nt use his size for him

It counters against him during corners and indirect freekicks

Thats the main cause of the goals he lets in but with 1 on 1 and shot stopping he is the best in britain

Good reflexes dont make a good keeper, Boruc is dreadful under a crossed ball, dont forget it. He's antics doesnt make him good

What makes a good keeper is good vision,good reflexes,Big commanding precence,good decision making and Fast reactions

Good vision-- to help him see where the ball is going to go as in future terms

Good reflexes--So he can reach anywhere in the goals

Commanding precence--So he can grab the ball if it comes anywhere near the goals

Decision making--So he knows what to do in a situation e.g run out and tackle the ball of the player or stay on the line

Fast reaction--So all of these above are put to use

Bourc looking at these he has good vision 5 point

He has good reflexes 4 point

He can have a commanding precence 3 point

Decision making 5 point

Fast reaction 4 point

So I give him a 21 out of 25 or 4.2 out of 5

have a try and see who you think is the best keeper in britain

If your not good at maths just divide your result by 5 and do it out of 5

I also got 4.2 for petr chekmate

But buffon is the best in the world and only conceded 1 proper goal that france penalty was a dive

 

I have a good idea what makes a good keeper, i was one. I like Boruc, good keeper but his weaknesses are severe. high ball has him struggling 8/10, that is too high a ratio. Its an easy fault to get at by other teams
