    Hi, i have just bought tickets for my first ever CL game at parkhead! I have quite a journey and am going by car. Was just wondering if anyone has any tips on where i could park and safely leave my car during the game? Also any good bar i should go before kick off for a cheeky pint?

    forge retail park round the back of the stadium thats where i park and good bars i dont drink sorry so wouldnt no :celt_2:

    For atmosphere and a singsong there's lots of pubs in the Gallowgate but it's a 20 minute walk from the stadium, if you just want a standard pint with fellow Tims the Anchor Bar is decent, just round from the forge. :50:

    As globalmix says head for the Forge retail park ,its massive park up there and ask about for a decent pint ,theres a few in and around the stadium .

    Take a left, head straight on up by the 1st aldi's you see then take a sharp right, right into a wee lane. Should be no bother from there. :50:

    Bairds bar would be the best pub to go to IMO. :celt_2:
    No idea about parking your car though....

    Merchant city is a good place tof u want a pint before the game only thing is ud have to park there the best thing you could do is where ever you are staying leave ur car there in there car park and head down merchant city or further down nearer the stadium would be alot easier for u mate.

    If your coming from the north somewhere along london road is easiest for getting back out, get there earlie and park on the side opposite the supporters club.
