I know the whole point is to come on here, dicuss, debate, vent about our team, but it gets my fu**ing goat when i come on here and see thread after thread after thread for Lennon to go, how he is useless.

Where were you when we pumped Hearts 3 to the gid away last season?
Where were you when we put 9 past Aberdeen?
Where were you when we batered Rangers at Ibrox?
Where were you when we hamemred the huns at CP?

Where were you on the day we lost the title against Motherwell? You weren't jumping up and down with your back to the pitch were you? Singing there's only one Neil Lennon, telling people We Are All Neil Lennon?

Get a grip. Start thinking. Judge the man in May. I'll tell you, I'll be laughing in May when we've done a treble, and all of yous who are calling for Lennon's head can have a gid think then...

Hungover, hurting, hoping, but faithfull through and through...

i am fed up of kneejerk 'sack the manager' threads. it was lik that when WGS was here, Mowbray (although not as much as was justified) and now Lenny.

I don't agree with the sacking him nonsense but I don't think you can get fed up with people venting their frustration. Their ways of dealing with it may be different but we all pay money to watch Celtic, we all buy the new kits, we all get strung along by the board so in my head people can say what they want. I don't have to agree/disagree or even read threads that don't interest me.

We're always a defeat away from crisis mate, and we're always a defeat away from pessimistic morons crawling out the woodwork to voice their well though-out opinions on here.

    Just one of those things.

It's not just big games like last night, if we drop a single point there are people on here running around like the sky is falling, it's mental.

We can't and won't win every single game, that's not how football works, but there appears to be some overgrown children on here that just can't accept that.

But you feel obliged to comment on this one... :56::56:

Naw, seriously but... I'm no saying don't come on and vent, or don't get upset... And I'm no really sure what the relevance of people buying kits and paying money to go and watch games is.... But I'm saying to call or lenny's head is lunacy, utter utter pish. From a footballing sense. over the top knee * reaction, and even if he did warrant the sacjk, who the fu** is going to come to CP and manage our team in our league, after last nights showing by the 'big 3' in the SPL...

    Pish.

When we beat the Huns in Ibrox and win the League, Lennon will be the best manager since Jock Stein! Thats how it go's. Or if a player had a bad game, "sell him, hes *". :97:
The exception is Samaras, he has * seasons. :31:

Yes I'm bored of it but I can see why it happens.

This forum has a younger demographic than most other Celtic forums. I'd say that most members of this forum are aged 25 or under. That means that most of their Celtic memories are from the Martin O'Neill and Gordon Strachan years. Years when Celtic were by a distance the best team in Scotland, won the league regularly and often comfortably, spent big money on players and the team had players of the quality of Larsson, Sutton, Boruc, Lubo etc

The older ones amongst us are better able to put those times into context and realise that those were exceptionally good times for Celtic, they are not the norm. If you are under 25yo you won't remember the grim times of the early 1990's or the 1980's when league titles didn't come along every season, or even every second or third season for that matter.

I'm not saying that's the younger ones fault, you can only be the age you are and have the memories you have, but if all you've ever known is the days of O'Neill and Strachan where big money was spent and trophies were delivered almost on a conveyor belt then it's going to come as a shock to the system when reality kicks in and times get tougher. That's why I think you get knee-* reactions on here.

Supporting a football team isn't just about the good times. You have to see the bad times through as well. 'Faithful through and through' is not just words. The way some people on here react to a couple of bad results really makes me wonder how they would react if Celtic didn't win a trophy for 2 or 3 seasons.

Celtic will go through lean times but the great thing about this club is we will always bounce back eventually. You cannot keep this club down forever. Our proud history shows us that.

But we can't win all the time. Get used to it.

Nope, it happens on every football forum in the world. If you don't like knee-* reactions then I would suggest a football forum is not the place for you.
