Are the GB starting to get on peoples nerves?

I was all for this at first but lately they are starting to distract things away from football and i don't think this is what they set out to do. I totally agree the stewards can be tossers but from what i heard, the carry on yesterday was drink related. So GB just stick to backing the team and sing your hearts out and dont give these tossers anything to go on and i will gladly back you's.

 

No, what they bring to CP is fantastic. I have the upmost respect for these guys. Long may it continue and grow.

 

they have been great and getting a lot of support from everyone but now they seem to think they are so much more! they create a good atmosphere at parkhead but thats where it stops. they think they actually run the place now and can do as they like.

the gb think they are celtic,they hide behind a large group of sheep/young people who would sing or protest against winnie the pooh if someone said he had met john reid.how sad is it when we win 9 nil, and most of us are on a high,but the politicos drag us down into the gutter.come out of the shadows those of you who are the real green brigade,argue your case,three weeks that garbage ran on,with fans getting attacked for wearing poppies by the gb ned hangers on and the press nationally and internationally having open season on us and not ONE,repeat ONE,senior member of that organisation having the guts to explain why they think they are more important than celtic football club and the majority of its fans,no guts,no honour

They aren't starting to get on people's nerves because, simply put, there are some supporters which have never ever backed the Green Brigade and as soon as they do something which this section deem unacceptable, they come crawling out of the woodwork yet again to tediously have a go at them.

 

Fantastic post mate, says everything you need to know. They bring a fantastic atmosphere but what these idiots who hung up the poppy sign have to remember is that they have no right whatsoever too tell Celtic not to wear it on their shirt. They are the same as any other fan and they have to remember that.

 

A lot of fans lost a lot of respect for the GB after the banner, and quite rightly so there is a time and a place. Most fans like myself agreed with what they said but you don't broadcast it to the world and bring bad publicity to the club. I myself think they are doing a great job they just need to use there heads sometimes and try and not alienate themselves so much from the rest of Celtic support. They need to realise that there views are not entirely the same as the rest of the support, and they are representing Celtic and the fans at every game they attend so need to take into consideration the views of other supporters as well.

I would say most fans mate, thats my opinion and how I've perceived it. I did not like the banner being hung at parkhead, but was against the poppy's like most fans. They used a pretty immature way to get there point across.

 

i think they are very controversial but the backing they give the team can't be questioned, they are certainly needed at celtic park on matchdays
