    If your asking about Absinth in general, then Yes - many times. I actually went to the Pamplona Bull Run a few years ago, they drink large quantities of that stuff in the Basque countries.

    That particular brand, no - I have two bottles at home :86:

    No mate - thts not absinthe - thats goldshlannger (sp?) yer thinking of. It has flecks of gold that supposedly slash yer throat on the way down

    Absinthe is far better. It's probably the best alcoholic drink around.

    that goldschlagger stuff is liquorice flavoured is it not? not bad actually. i doubt the wee bits of gold do any damage though lol.

    Goldschlager is only 43.5% by vol and does not cut yer throat - quite mild really, like a normal schnapps - the flakes are 24K gold - so they say anyway.

    Absinth is the beast :47:

    They are mostly mad before they start drinking Absinth. It actually tastes rather good - problem is of course, you can't taste the vindaloo afterwards.:47:

    Yeah, have tried it straight and in a shooter form with Kahlua and Baileys.
    Can't say I'm a huge fan, least I didn't cut my ear off like Van Gough!!!

    Wonder why the admin didn't move this thread to Pub Chat it's not exactly about Celtic is it?, I posted one about favourite beer and it's moved within 10 minutes tut tut getting paranoid now.
