My back and leg has been fecked for nearly a year now. Still not really further with a diagnosis. Been told multiple stuff from docs, hemangiomas (benign tumours) down most my spine, hypermobility syndrome and altered neuro dynamics. * just expected me to keep doing physio even though it never helped after about 4 months. Stopped the physio and put in a complaint... they were quick reffering me for a second opinion after that.

Had perthes of the hip as a child and recently the same hip has been giving me major hastle so had it xrayed the other day, waiting on the result of that.I've now got something wrong with the top of my spine which is to be xrayed on Monday, other than that I've been lucky not to have anything wrong or any illnesses.think my recent problems are maybe down to years of muaythai, still won't give up training tho bcoz it's in my blood.

    Cheers folks!

It's pretty scary isnt it. Sounds like you were very lucky mate. Thank * you got it sorted. They never found the cause of my bleed, no ulcers, pancreas and liver are both fine. The favourite word used by docs is 'idiopathic' - you are ill and we have no idea.

As i said, I've stayed positive all the way through this. Kinda see it as a wake up call to do the things I've always wanted to, also makes you appreciate things a lot more. For the first 6 months I was sat on my couch watching films, but you end up getting cabin fever, so I started trying to go walks etc to build my stamina back up but it was hard work. Now managing to go for swims but it's exhausting. Had to adapt my diet to get nutrients first thing in the morning, so it's smoothies full of spinach, kale, beetroot etc. Tastes good actually. As the day goes on, thats when the vomiting gets worse, as my stomach gets fuller. Wouldnt wish it on anyone.

well at least you're mentally fit :smiley-laughing002: but seriously you need a wee overhaul to sort the pains out. no one should have to live with pain as it is debilitating. get the pain sorted and start concentrating on all the other positives about your life what you can do to make yourself even a tiny bit fitter and improve your quality of life. :50:
