We all kindy knew Victor and Gary were leaving last Jan when they wouldn't sign new contracts. Lenny would off knowing sooner as he works with them day in day out. He would knowing they wanted new challenges.

We should have players in already to replace these players. We made something like 20 odd million from Champion league last season and 6 million from ki sale. Surely board could splashed more money getting few more players in.

Or maybe Park hasn't found us replacement for these guys yet. Surely the would been his number one target to find free scoring forward and defensive midfielder. Balde is more target man and isnt really a out and out scorer like hooper.

    Wanyama only left yesterday mate.

There's still plenty of time to get in a replacement.

Not dissapointed no. It was inevitable for me that Wanyama was going to be off, same for Gary really. I am interested to see what we do next and how we use the money we got for Vic and could yet get for Hooper.

I'd be amazed if we didn't already have replacements lined up.

Wanyama left yesterday and Hooper is still a Celtic player ffs :56:

Of course we have a number of targets in all positions and there will be a list of hooper, wanyama replacements..
Whether they are affordable and we can get them is another thing but its too early to start pushing the panic buttons!

Aye, cause 'splashing cash' has worked so well in the past, eh? Wanyama cost 900k.

Is this thread a * take?

Well if that person or a few are in mind why not make the bid for them if they knew we wanted to sell wanyama Just idiotic if u ask me! Now if we do have somebody in mind what if they are not interested or they are out of our value and we don't get them it's back to the drawing board!

I am yes, time will tell whether its justified or not. If we * up in any of the qualifiers thats our season down the toilet.

Not atm but if we dont bring in suitable replacements then i will be, not so much wanyama because i think kayal can fill that slot but we have to get a goalscorer if hooper goes and not another striker who likes to drift out wide all the time like sammy, stokes and now balde always do.

I get the point myself but am still hoping we do have targets lined up and that behind the scenes stuff is happening. I know we go about our business quietly and I like that but at the moment nothing seems to be happening.

We need players in through the door quick to give us a decent chance of CL qualification. Can you imagine the season without CL football, the attendances would be appalling.

I hate the board because of the way they treated our support last season but I'm really happy with the team. I'm sure we'll get the reinforcements we need.

Time will tell. If I were Neil Lennon, I'd demand, rightly the war chest to make the team as good if not better. He wouldn't be short of job offers after last season.

I expect a good few signings in the next couple of weeks.
