If he's off too a championship side then he is finished here. Shame as he was an assist machine.

lol pretty much all of our best and most important results since Stokes signed for Celtic have been without him appearing.

2-1 vs Barca, 2-0 at Ibrox, 3-2 win in Russia, 3-0 wins over the huns, 2-1 vs Spartak.

His footwork for Forrest's winner againt karagandy was quality Lennon for some reason didn't pick him for the big games despite scoring regularly domestically, I don't think he played in any old firm games under Lennon

Garbage. Both players understood each other's game, and worked very well together. The difference is, Hooper could also play as a lone striker, and his level of performance wouldn't dip, Stokes can't do that.

Great to see all the lads back at training today. Going to get myself in the best shape Iv been this year and make it a big one

Stokesy knows exactly what's expected of him. He's just struggling to actually do it over time.

If Ronny didn't want him he would of sold him, so no matter what differences they've had Stokes still has a chance to revive his career here and I hope he does. But I can see us getting in another striker.

Think his best performance as a lone striker was probably Ajax tbh. Better Ajax team than the one we got * by this season as well.

If you're talking about the game when Lasse Schone scored and we got beat 1-0 then that speaks volumes about how poor a lone striker he is. He was absolutely garbage that night, can vividly remember him offering absolutely nothing. Thast was the most comfortable 1-0 you're ever likely to see.
