9 goals in 4 games says it all really. Although I would have thought we are well stocked in the forward ranks so this story probably is just paper bs.

I knew this headline would make an appearance at some point. The boy's obviously on fire at the minute, and Falkirk coming to Paradise the morra is perfect timing, im sure there will be a few keen eyes on the lad tomorrow. If he can hold his own against us then id be quite happy to take him on.

    Let's just wait and see

Heard this one on the real radio phone in tonight. Also heard that wgs is a great admirer of Hartley!! and it was intimated that we could move for him or Brellier (is that how you spell it?) in January. Keith Jackson was in the studio and we all know he is best pals with Presley and he didn't poopoo any of these rumours.

I wouldnt bother with Hartley, he'd surely cost €3-4M and he wouldn't be able to hold down a regular place in the team. I dont we have that amount of money to spend on a squad player. Best off spending on a youngster

I would be very surprised if wgs even considered signing Hartley. I'm sure that it was him he was having a go at the other day. As to the other two guys they sound more promising.

Totally agree. Signing Hartley would be a complete waste of money and Strachan has not wasted much in the transfer market lately so I don't see this one happening. Hartley has nothing to offer that we don't have already.

    A few questions:

    - Does he have the abilities to be a top scorer for years to come or is he just on a good run? 1 season pony?

    - Is he much better than our youngsters?

    - Do we need another striker? Could he add some skills to our current squad?

is he on loan or does he belong to falkirk? I think he's still on loan but I assume he doesn't speak french so he'll be useless for arsenal.

would be expensive too I spose.

Tony Stokes would be a great signing, hes 10 years younger than magic and I assume would be alot cheap plus he's probably better than magic

Aye he's on loan till Jan ...I'd imagine Yogi is looking to extend that now..
might not be that expensive cos i think he has only a 3 year contract at the gooners and he is a year into that and there is a fair bit of forward talent there
