    Anybody that shocked?

    Absolutely disgusting how this probably still wont change anything to do with the gun policy. :31:

    Shouldnt even be on the news in the UK, or anywhere else for that matter.

    * them.Americans dont actually care so why should we?

    On an individual basis, i have nothing but sympathy for the victims and their families, but lets be honest, its old news.It is far more relevant how many people died in Iraq today, or Syria, or Nigeria, or Somalia, or Yemen......but no one gives a * about that!

    Well i for one couldnt give a * about another boring story about American gun crime.Go * yourselves if you wont do anything about it yourselves.....it shouldnt be on the news and im sick listening to it.

    Do we just hear of it happening all the time there or is it that it just happens there all the time?

    Would be interesting to see how often it happens in America to the rest of the world. Like you never hear of them in Europe or Africa or Asia or South America but could be just that we dont see it on our news where as we get all american news.

    I just mentioned that about America in my post right at the same time as yours that we get a lot of news about America. I couldnt tell you the name of the lead politician or any at all from Ireland but american these Trumps, Clintons wife, Bush and that are never off our teles yet weve got fuckall to do with them. You'd think america was apart of britain how much of their news is in ours.

    I bet they know little to nothing about whats happening here. Probably couldnt even point to Scotland on a map or tell us the name of any of our politicians or even know our capital city.

    All we care about is America.Probably 100 people got murdered in Mexico City today, and half of them were kidnapped and beheaded......but Mexicans dont count as human......only Americans are human according to the BBC and Sky.....and we should care more about their lives.

    Fair enough i suppose!!!! They give us a reason for living with all their celebrities!

    Even compare it to Canada and Australia the other two big English speaking countries, we never hear of them, literally most people in the UK would know heehaw about them I couldnt tell you anything happening there or who their presidents are. But America for some reason we just get told about everything going on there daily yet its got nothing to do with us.

    Wonder the last time we seen on our news Canadian politicians making speaches or that, probably never even happened before.

    Im usually up to date with the Presidents of most countries around the world, and im sure others are too, but i would bet that less than 5% of those in here know who the Canadian PM is.(Dhaibli, you dont count as you lived there)

    This... It's only a matter of time before their is another shooting of a black person by white cop over there and it will cause a 100 page debate on here, like it's our own cops we're on about!?

    Why do people care? If american's want to give their citizens guns to shoot each other rightly or wrongly it has sweet fa to do with us lowly citizens of scotland! I don't eve raise an eyebrow when I hear about this stuff anymore..

    Im only suprised that it happened tonight and not 2 weeks ago, weirdly the first two times I was in Amsterdam there was a big shooting in America(both times for Celtic games) in 2012 and 2013, had this happened 2 weeks ago id have been there again and made it a hat-trick. :56:

    I remember the first one we just awoke and were watching it on the news the batman. Then 14 month later it was like deja vu, woke up tv on and a shooting in america thinking im sure this happened before and it did.
