    FFS :56:

I'm not trying to prove anything, what I'm saying is a fact. I didn't say Apple nor iPhones were better.

I just got a takeaway off Just Eat, I used Apple Pay. There is no option for Android Pay. That is my point proven in a real life situation.

Ain't exclusive to a Celtic one.

Well, I kinda jumped into this argument halfway through, so I wasn't exactly sure of the context.

Although you seem to be arguing to the death about Apple Pay and how that proves Apple/iOS is better known. I don't necessarily disagree that they're a better known brand, but you're using an isolated incident which doesn't prove a "fact" at all, especially since Android Pay isn't out in the UK yet ya muppet so it wouldn't have even been possible to use it :56:

I mind shouting at a burds back window (she was grounded) I was seeing and her Da looked out instead. He ended up inviting me in for the third degree and ended up loving me.

She dumped me a week later because her old man liked me. :smiley-laughing002:

That's what Escort was for. :smiley-laughing002:

The main thing that puts me off the S6 is being unable to take the battery out if there's a problem and no longer being able to add external storage. I know that would be true of the iphone too. I'd probably immediately prefer another samsung phone as I'm familiar with the features but the wife has an iphone and she says there would be some benefits with that too, free texts (get them anyway), facetime (got other apps that can utilise that) and I can't remember what else.

The apps I use are available on both devices so that's not a problem, but I use a Windows computer so for compatibility of changing files, perhaps Samsung is the better option for me.

Something Apple love to do is promote features as if they are groundbreakingly new, or only found on their phones.

iMessage - done before with WhatsApp, IM services, FB chat, TEXT messages.
    * even Windows phone managed to link FB chat, MSN messages and Text messages all in to one program, long before imessanger took off.
Plus point to the Windows phone version - the person you messaged didn't need to be on the dame device as you, everyone else had free choice while you got the benefit of that feature. iPhone, you had to have your mates use the same device just to use a glorified text service.

Facetime - front facing cameras came out years ago, Nokia and Motorola tried to promote videocalling. It never really took off, but so long as the other person had a front facing camera they could do the same, regardless of device. Apple on the other hand force you and your mate to both have Apple products to be able to do it.
Go figure in todays world it took off a bit more - marketing being key - and folk using it look every bit of a tool as they try to be.

    * one time Apple even tried to promote their phone being smaller than competitors by saying you could hold the phone in one hand, and touch the whole screen with your thumb - groundbreaking feature! Then a year later announced the bigger iPhone 6...ahem.

Apple and (most) of their users are twats to be honest.

I switched from an Iphone4s to a Samsung Galaxy S5 last year and haven't regretted it at all.

Will probably keep going with the Samsungs, even though I've had a couple overheating problems with mine over the past year. I had problems with the Iphone as well, hard for any of them to be perfect it seems.

Somebody should start an xbox vs playstation thread.

Unreal how worked up people get about this type of thing. Whichever thing you prefer is obviously the best suited to your needs, they all have good and bad points.

Anyone had/have an htc m8 ? Looked at that before I chose an iphone. Cracking looking but read bad reviews of the camera which killed it for me.

    Lol. Not you AGAIN.

You're about as original and predicable as the bible.

On all the websites I'm on you stand out. Not in a good way though, but you provide me amusement. Thanks.
