Another Old Firm Game and another dire performance. His lack of bottle and unwillingness to fight for the cause is dissappointing. He often holds back in tackles and lacks a footballing brain. He rarely performs, if ever, in the big games. He rarely forces the defender into tackling him and cuts inside too much rather than go to the by-line. His lack of final ball/shot is also hugely frustrating and i was disappointed to have seen his dive after initially thinking he had been fouled in the ground

Just wondering if this opinion is shared by others

he may not be the worst in the team but he is the biggest asset we have for bringing in funds. In my opinion it isn't enough to do o.k against the smaller teams and i would bite your hand off for 7 + million for him

Only good thing he did was dive and get elbows sent off, which while funny, isn't really praiseworthy.

Had a bit of a mare in general.

seeing these posts popping up every time he underperforme does my nut in , hes been arguably our best player ( certainly attacking wise ) since lenny took over and as soon as he slips up theres always some fans ready to single him out , and your at it even though we won , you wouldn't of seen this thread up on sat thats for sure :38: your opinion but by * i disagree with it

He was rotten tonight, when he plays like that he is the showpony a lot of people say he is. Remove the directness from his play and all he does is stepovers and quick feet where it doesn't do any damage.

No i have always felt McGeady is poor and vastly overrated and have said so all season . I respect your opinion but i feel many fans are blinded when it comes to McGeady - he does nothing most weeks and pops up with a decent bit of play every 6-7 games. He lives on the fact he chose to play for Ireland in my opinion

On his day, our best player. Has played well under Lennon and I thought he was brilliant tonight. Didn't dive, he jumped over the challenge and was caught in the air by McCuntogh's flailing leg. Definitely don't want to see him go.

    'brilliant' ?:97: are you sure?

If that was Lafferty who had done that we would be calling him all the * of the day on here and complaining about his diving. I's not the first time McGeady has dived and it frustrates me to see any player dive as it results in both the ref and tackling player having to take the punishment

I wouldn't break the bank for Keane and I would take whatever money we can get for McGeady. Keane is Class, but done nothing against Gers and not had a chance to see him in europe for us, as for McGeady, fine against smaller teams even pish against them sometimes.

All in all it would be money saved, gained and spent in more important areas of the team if both weren't here next season in my opinion.

well i'm afraid i truly believe the fact he chose for Ireland has helped him. You only have to look at the stick other players (Sammy, Fortune etc.) get when they play a bad pass or shot but when McGeady does the exact same thing he gets applauded.

Tonight was the 1st time this season I've seen him have a bad game and we've won, normally if he's bad the rest under perform..Nice to see others pulling their weight for a change.Still the best player at the club.

I think the priority has to be strengthening the team as a whole and i wouldn't want a large chunk of our budget being spent on Keane to sacrifice getting defenders etc in. I think Kamara represents better value for money as his transfer fee won't be too high and his wages will be quite low. Keane should be signed once we have brought in other players and moved players on if there is cash remaining but i highly doubt it

I know he didn't score but seldom have I seen a striker who works so hard. He put in a tireless performance and it was mainly due to poor deliveries that he didn't get on the scoresheet. I would love it if we could have him stay for next season.

your not serious lol , when he plays a bad pass or looses the ball the majority of the crowd go mental at him
