I see he is playing for Sheffield Wednesday, what happened to this player? I was never his biggest fan. There were always those Celtic fans who said that he would be the next Ronaldo, I was never in that camp, but I did think he would have made a greater impact than he has. He never progressed at Spartak and he was very poor at Everton. Attitude? Never really had it? Either way, I'm a bit disappointed in how is career has went

Attitude..... he had all the * talent in the world, imagine he's almost 30 and hasn't really improved all that much since he burst onto the scene over a decade ago. Consistency was a ridiculous problem for him all the time too.
His bizarre move to Moscow certainly didn't help,he needed a club and a manager to harness his talent and build the team around him, not that many teams would have that patience to do so. He was always a luxury player. -

It always surprises me the memories of some people, when by my own admittance, mine is sometimes horrendous..
He could be hot and cold and a moody *, but equally he was up and down the wing, working hard and making thing's happen and genuinely could provide a bit of magic and some quality with either foot. At one point we were relying on him a bit..
He probably shoulda made more of a name for his self in England but overall the guy's been a good player and done well for his self..
I've always rated him.. -

Thought he was class and would have done a lot better with better players around him
-
Would be a massive improvement on what we have. Especially since we don't have a left winger.
He was a massive asset in Europe I felt. Could carry it for 50 yards and take the pressure off us against some really good sides. We've always had an out ball on the left - McGeady, Samaras, Jarosik etc. -
I was at the hull wednesday game it was *.. wouodnt of had anyone in our first team from that performance

Wasn't he rated as the best player in Russia when he went to Spartak?

He was very good at Spartak by all accounts in Russia, I've seen a few Celtic fans trying to downplay his time there, don't know why.

For us he was outstanding IMO, and he carried the team himself at times. His work rate would also put the likes of Forrest et al to shame, he never hid in matches and was a real outlet for us, particularly in Europe.
He is infinitely better than any of our current wide players. He's went to Everton and it just didn't work out, it happens. -

Never heard anyone call him the next Ronaldo. He likes a stepover, that's about it.
He was a good Celtic player and I'd take him back. Didn't work out at Everton, he's not the first player to move to a Club and for it not to work out. -
The next Ronaldo ? Did they both not appear around the same time ?
Never heard that in my puff. -

He's a quality player, not sure why he gets the stick he goes from some sections of our support. He carried the team at times here.
