Seen him a few times for Man City and he is actually a preety good player....seems like a natural born goalscorer...and if City sign Robinho for 34mil and Jo for 18mil then no matter how highly rated you are, you will find it hard to get a game

If we could get him for less than £1m i would take him on - he's not worth more than that right now. No loan deal either, not beneficial to us

 

Not seen much of him, but if its on a loan deal then it cant really harm us, not so sure about taking him permanently at this point. I would prefer Celtic to sign a forward with a bit of pace though, we really lack it upfront.

 

read in the sun this morning that were stepping things up with regards to getting evans on loan as we were apparently interested in newcastles andy carroll (i heard nothing about this before) but that deal is now fot to be dead due to newcastles injury crisis.

CELTIC were last night closing in on a permanent deal for Manchester City striker Ched Evans. Chief executive Peter Lawwell is understood to have travelled south for talks as he seeks to tie up a £1m-plus deal for the 20-year-old, who has won six Welsh caps.

City were originally thought to be in favour of only a loan move for the player, who scored 10 goals in 20 games on loan to Norwich last year, an arrangement to which Celtic were not averse. But with the Manchester club making big-name signings in an

a great prospect no doubt would be nice but 1 mill is cheap eh

 

Where does that leave Ben Hutchison? The guy has done everything possible to break into the first team and to no avail. It's quite possible the same thing could happen to Evans.

 

Evans is a far better plaer than Hutchi.

 

True hutchison has been a big dissapointment, we need something special upfront with real talent. At £1 mil its worth a gamble!

Looking forward to seeing what the lad can do. haven't seen much of him apart from whats on youtube.
