Actually he's getting it far worse because his mistakes have been far more disastrous and damaging to our cause than any other player's or the manager's.

How so then if we are still top of the league and in all the cups apart from Europe ? :97: and as far as Europe goes it was just the full team being pish in general nothing to do with him

Because if he makes one howler we let him off because of his importance to us since he's been here. If he does two you get * off but you can live with it, as long as he bucks up his ideas, as my old man used to say. If he does them consistently over the course of two thirds of a season a line has to be drawn.

He cannot just keep making these howlers and expect to get away with them. NO ONE else in the team would make as many fatal errors he has this year and get away with it, so what's so different about Artur?

i think hes havin a bad season, unfortunatly as a goal keeper, you cant have a bad season. I think because he is the keeper its easier to see his mistakes, but im sick of defending him. The mistakes he has made this season have been terrible. I voted keep because he is still a great keeper but if the right price came, unfortunatly id be happy to let him go.

end of the day, the big man has been there when it matters most. Everyone seems to point out the bad points but we havent lost the league since he's been our No1.Have faith in the big Man, Still in the top 5 in the world..Easy

Personally i feel GS is playing a blinder in this ,Boruc i think should be dropped because he is a player of form so no differences should be made then ,but im thinking that GS is playing him to try and keep him focused on football and not so much on his private life .

If GS said take a month away and get your life sorted out ,it could go against him ,boruc could possibly hit the self destruct button and blow his career and i do think GS is keeping him away from his problems which seem to be abroad and is keeping a close eye on him .

Thats seems fair enough but if boruc continues to play and blunders are still happening, GS has a decision to make ,and maybe im talking * ,i dunno ,thoughts .

The price for Shay Given is £8m, a bit out of our league i'm afraid. Anyway, Macari let him go for nothing in 1994 - what a *

In my view, most of the mistakes Artur is making appear to be mental ones. This might suggest that his concentration, at this point, is not what it should be. Think about your own lives, if you are at work and not concentrating on it properly...why might that be? Usually it will be because something is going on in your private life which is bothering you or getting you down. I believe the situation with Artur's child being in Poland might be the key to his loss of form. Unfortunately if this is the case there is little can be done to help. Perhaps 3 or 4 weeks out of the team to get his head together again might be an option but it's a risky option to take when your back-up keeper is as bad as ours is. I think the club needs to really put an arm round Artur and help him any way they can and support him till he finds his true form again. All this talk of him being finished and selling him is frankly bollocks! Give the big man a break, he's been tremendous for us and I am 100% confident he will be again in the future.

    * bless The Holy Goalie! HAIL HAIL

Anyone, who thinks we could get Shay given as a replacement is in dreamland!

We could barely afford half his wages never mind the whole heap. Not a chance of it happenin.

better than gordon so it'd have to be £9million+ for me to say sell him. anything less and they can * right off.

I say keep him, drop him though for a couple of games. Mark Brown doesnt inspire me with much confidence but if it makes Artur sit up and and take notice he will then maybe think about getting his head clear. Playing football usually always gets you away from your troubles but sometimes you cant forget about some stuff and it effects you.

That's an interesting point. Although Strachan will want to let Boruc know that he still has a lot of faith in his ability, I feel that if Boruc's form drops further, Mark Brown should be given a chance. If Strachan actually was playing Boruc to keep him focused on football and not his private life, I believe that would be a mistake. It wouldn't solve the problems of Boruc's private life. Instead it would almost be like Boruc was running away from his problems.

Mark Brown has proved capable and dependable when he's played. And the fact that we're signing Zaluska will mean Boruc will already have sat up and took notice.

i'd keep him, but his mistakes are becoming far more worrying. It was only 6 or 7 months ago that he was immense at euro 2008 so i don't think he's lost - however he must refocus onto football.

He is a genuinely world class player, all the best keepers seem to be going through rough patches at the moment.

Boruc should look at how players such as larsson and Scholes act off the pitch and follow their example if he wants to be the best.

Keep him without a doubt. I'd chuck Brown in for next game just to let Boruc get a reality check. Didn't we win all our matches when Boruc was injured ad Brown stepped in??(correct me if im wrong). Only bad thing about Brown is he is a ex-hun, So he probobly has a foul odour.

keep him, i think he will improve, he has had a hard time and that has shown in his performance, but he will be back on form
