I think the problem is for many members TC has become something more that only celtic talk and that's the cause of recent situation. many people here spend there few hours a day and get involved a lot. due to my studies I have no time to do that but I used to do so two months ago and I know you can take the things happening there too seriously, I used to, now I just ignore any stupid/offensive/irritating posts/people (of course I realise that for mods such people as sparky are pain in the * and it may become annoying and frustrating) so I understand you but hope you'll change your mind

 

my ghod, people think of those who want to enjoy TC further... if most of you leave it'll kill my favourite website

Ok this is Celtic Man I don't know why everybody's hating me I had to defend my Character, this is why...On the day of The Old firm 2-0 win last Wed I logged on in The Afternoon and it came up that I was banned so I created this Username just to read the Forum and find out why, browsing through it I noticed it was HH that had banned me for saying Torq didn't understand The English language or something and he branded this "* Stirring" I then appealed and this trivial ban was lifted within an hour, but when I logged back in as Celtic Man I had a Private Message from HH sayin the reason I was banned was because I had sent an abusive PM to someone and because Torq had been saying I was a Racist I assumed there had been a story made up by him about me sendin him a Racist Personal Message as I had no other issues with anyone else, I honestly did try and keep my cool but I was branded a racist by Torq for nothing just cause I had slagged or slagged him back a couple of times in fun and he just happened to be Polish, I am not Racist people I am disgusted Torq called me this and don't deny it you did call me it Torq so at least admit it
(People read back just put the word racist in the Search bit on the top Menu and it will come up that Torq called me it), It totaly makes me feel sick that someone can just call me racist so casually and it hit a nerve with me as I have a little adopted cousin who is black that I am close to, then I'm made to feel guilty when I try and defend my Character in The Afraid To Post Thread, I am the victim here guys everyone here think deeply if someone was calling you racist would you not try and defend yourselves as well ? of course you would, I have a photo of myself on this Site so It is dangerous for Torq just to call me a Racist for no reason.
I've noticed they've banned me for ever which I think is Harsh for just trying to defend my Character, maybe the Abusive Personal Message reason was actualy a mistake and Torq didn't make this up but he still did call me a Racist and I was gonna let it go but I couldn't afford to as people on this Site know me in real life also so this is dangerous Slander against my Character in my Personal life, I am actually willing to shake hands with Torq and never mention any of this ever again if my Celtic Man ban could be lifted, and I hope Bhoywunda, Dubs, BB, Zama etc all come back please I hate what's happened here and I didn't want ot cause any trouble I'm not a * stirrer Honest guys I'm a Die Hard Tim that hates argueing with his fellow Celtic fans, I was just trying to convince people that I am not racist don't hate me guys Cheers, Torq I am willing to shake hands and forget about all of this please be careful in the future about casually calling people Racist when they are not Thankyou for reading all this Hail Hail The Celts Are Here, I can't wait to beat Rangers on Saturday 4-0 to The Hoops and if this is the last time you ever hear from me I want to thank everyone for such a great Site, MikeyBhoy, Murphy7, HenriksTongue, Zama, Dub, Bhoywunda, Mafyoo etc etc yous are all good On-line Pals keep in touch my Yahoo name is

Ah, I don't know what's happening Sparky, but you really need to E-mail an Admin about this, I don't know what happened so I can't judge.

Just accept your ban and after a bit ask if you're allowed back on, I received bans in the past and for what I thought was unfair, just serve your ban, then come back and I'm sure all will be forgotten about.

Also, all the ones who left will be back and will be suing Celtic Mad for having it so addictive.

I think this is very sad news for all of us, that members who were so involved with the site have felt the need to up and leave for greener pastures. What did go wrong here? Celtic Man has come in for a lot of flack but has repeatedly apologised if he was to blame for the problem and felt that he to had been misunderstood. Is it just too convienient to blame one member? The site has got boring over the last couple of months but whose fault is that, it has to be we, the Forum members. Is it that members became to sensitive to what people were writing? They felt the need to complain and ran to moderators if they felt agrieved? We are all adults and we will have disagreements from time to time but let this be a lesson to us all for the future, the situation we find ourselves in, left some valued members feeling the need to leave; why did we let it go that far.

A wee bit of soul searching is called for here people!!

 

Cheers Mate, I would like to see Mikey, Bhoywunda, Dubs, Zama, BB and everyone else that left come back to TalkCeltic and forget about all that rubbish and look forward to hopefully a Treble Winning Season, we're all Tims and should be mates.

And you know, now I also started to think that something is wrong here and it`s fault of last "few" months. I join TC "few" months ago
[e.g.month after you bowroadbhoy] and to be honest, of course I noticed some "bad characters" here, some fights, stupid posts [e.g.mine sometimes] but i thought it was... normal in some way.
And I enjoy TC as more as I can
till now.
Now when I noticed that many of TC members [just reading this thread] write about some "changes during last few months" I feel really bad, couse I`m also new here and I feel like a part of this... "changes".

I never imagine that so many people feel that

If it`s also my fault, sorry.

Finally, I thought that Bhoywunda, Torq, Dubs and others make some kind of joke to listen that Celtic_Man feel sorry and to show other people "what schouldn`t do".
Great idea!
But now after reading this all I`m not sure what exactly is wrong and what make people, especially "old" members feel bad here since last months.
So I will surely be more quiet and post less and using different humour maybe, don`t know what else couse I never wanted to "destroy" TC.
If more people, especially "new" here will start think in this way... I don`t know if it would be best for TC.

I mean that I think they wanted to show you that you made some mistakes and you should know that you cross few boarders wchich schouldn`t be crossed.

Thinking about "joke" i mean that they will back, that it`s not forever.

Mac you can see from the Talkceltic Annual Awards that you are not part of the problem as people, including myself, have voted for you in categories to confirm you as part of the site.

I am not going to leave the site for the time being as I'm sure this will all be forgotten about eventually but as far as I know that won't mean anyone who has left coming back.

 

Yeah Mac, you're fine. As far as I can see, this is the way all forums get eventually. The bigger the forum gets, inevitably more retards (no one in specific, I'm sure we all have our own opinions on the matter) join. Hopefully we can stop that trend, but I doubt it

I am not sure if i want to stay a member with all of this going on,Only joined yesterday so i don't know what its all about but who ever has left they should just come back as I've read a lot of post saying that these people were the heart of the site,If it is only 1 person causing trouble then can Adim or the Mods not Ban that person for life.

Well it is a very sad day when a lot of good members are leaving the site. But it's their choice to.

I'm in a similar situation to CM - hard to get online sometimes - but I will keep trying my best in an attempt to get the forum going in the right direction again.

Hopefully the rest of you bhoys and ghirls will stick with us and not crawl out when things go wrong. Hail Hail

 

Ur going way over the top mate. Torq's not being hailed as a hero, maybe or maybe not he called u a racist and if u object then u should sort it out with him. The problem was u jumped to conclusions about HH getting a pm when u didnt know the facts. People should always at least try and get their facts right before posting. I understand ur anger coz u feel u've been wronged, but u are going the wrong way about it and dragging us all into this thing.
I don't want dragged into it. U write some really funny stuff but some things are a bit too much and I think others have written a bit too much and u've all made it a vendetta when it was just a * take.
Please calm down and stop making daft statements. Take a bit of time out then c wot happens. U can't keep doing this mate coz people won't be sympathetic to u if u do.
