Great interview with Henrik Larsson in todays edition of the Sunday Times on life at Barcelona and his thoughts at Celtic.
Forgive me for sounding condesending, but it would do a lot of people a lot of good to read proper sports journalism which is both informative and enjoyable and devoid of barrel scraping * stirring antics which is the main ingredient of the Record/SM and Sun/NOW.

:50:Read the interveiw with Larsson just wished he had won the UEFA-CUP IN 2003 Least that way he would have a UEFA-cup winners medal you could tell that was the most dissappointed night in the life of Henrick-Larsson:notworthy getting 2-goals in a major Final and still end up losing he didn't deserve that! What a player for the bhoys. Some times the Sun's ok personally i just read the Celtic Veiw m8 but you are right the record does take things out of context all the time and with the Sun starting to do it some-times its getting a bit out-of-control with the Papers on our team bhoys,Lets hope McLeish gets the sack or leaves over the next few games then ALL the papers Will go on about him and not the bhoys,Good point m8 if a lot of ppl didn't read they papers then no one would be saying anything stop going on Mikebhoy:76::76::76::76:

There are good alternatives out there that give quality coverage and interviews like the Times, rather than those who try to manipulate people by giving out misleading information and interputations or deliberating berating players and managers.

A link to the story would be great.
The Daily Express/Evening Times and the Sunday Express/Sunday Post are the only papers I read. Gary Keown and Andy McInnes are decent journalist and Charlie Nicholas is also with the express(although he can talk some pish at times) Then there is auld Ron Scott writing in the Sunday Post, always makes for good reading.

I've tried the Express, it's exactly the same as the Star without the * (if you don't include Nicholas). Not too fussed on Andy McInnes, reporting on Celtics heroic draw in the Nou Camp last year, opening paragraph of report "Celtic once again go crashing of the Champions League", need I say any more.
Phil Gordon in the Times for me calls it how it is, for instance, with the Lennon saga he said of the media witchhunt and away ground treatment, this is all due to "dark forces" within his profession and basic sectarianism. Very refreshing for a scribe to tell the truth!

can be found on WWW.thetimesonline.co.uk under Sundays edition, then Sports section, article titled "star wars"
