Was apart of our UEFA cup run, so yes, he deserves to.

Even though he made some major blunders, I'd still welcome him back with some applause. He's no Celtic hero/legend, but he deserves some appreciation for always trying to do his best for us.

Aye give the big man his due. He maybe cost us some vital games, mostly vital games. But he gave his all other than that, look at our other goalkeeper at that moment in life. Magnus Hedman, excellent keeper, but very prone to a boo boo. For example, that cross against Bayern Munchen when it just went right in...

    my gran coulda saved that.

If i am at the game i will be giving Rab a warm welcome back as im happy to see he's still in the game.

I'm with you mate! I still cringe at that moment.

My dad and I always have this argument whenever that goal is mentioned as far as my dad's concerned blaming big Rab for the goal is not on and i'm the exact opposite and its something we will never ever agree on. But fair play to the guy he did try his best and i suppose as fans you can't ask for much more than that. so i'll give him a wee cheer :ynwacelti

He''ll prob get a clap. He never gave anything but his best, it's not his fault his best was *. We'd all play for the hoops regardless of how good we are.

Fav memory was at Fir Park when he came for a cross, the ball does right through his hands and hits him square in the mush.:icon_mrgreen:

yeah but if hadnt been for a number of outstanding games (best of his career) in the run to the final we would never have got to the UEFA final in the first place. Not the best but a good bloke.

Thought Rab was a good shot stopper but was bad with crosses but funny how St. Artur's many clangers and the fact his is a total clown with crosses is never really an issue but Rab gets dogs abuse. Not the best but not the worst Celtic goalie either. I also dont blame Rab for the Seville goal, neve have. He was just scapegoated. It wasnt like he blundered it into the net or anything.

Trying to compare the 2 is rather embarassing. Mentioning them in same sentence is probably libellous. Big Rab will be remembered with affection by me personally but let`s be honest and admit that he was limited. Boruc has recent *-ups on his cv, yes, but games he`s won for us render these irrelevant on the grand scale of things. Boruc is by far the best keeper i`ve seen for Celtic. p.s. Inevitable Big Rab has a stunning game against us......although i`m more worried about young Huns loanee Shinnie.
