Ace dates model after leaving wife in Poland

MARRIED Celtic star Maciej Zurawski is secretly dating a stunning model.​

The 28-year-old star - nicknamed Magic by fans - is living in a trendy flat with his lover but his wife Monika is staying in Poland.​

The striker has been spotted hand-in-hand with stunning Natalja Borczuk, 24.​

His team-mates at Parkhead even assumed she was Mrs Zurawski.​

Natalja is also Polish and arrived in Scotland soon after the player signed for the club in the summer.​

One club source said: "We didn't realise his wife had never left Poland. We knew Magic was married and before he arrived we were told the wife was coming.​

"When we met him out and about with Natalja, we just assumed she was the wife."​

Make-up artist Monika, 27, did not travel to Glasgow when her football star husband signed for the Parkhead side in the summer​

They were dubbed Poland's Posh and Becks after getting married five years ago.​

Their wedding ceremony was shown on national TV and Zurawski has been desperate to keep the split secret.​

He had a furious bust-up with a Polish TV crew after being asked about his wife. Last night, his agent Raymond Sparkes confirmed the the couple were apart.​

He said: "Maciej does not wish to comment on this.​

"Maciej split from his wife before Celtic had any interest in him.​

"The fact he now has a girlfriend, and she is living with him in Glasgow, is just a natural development in his life."​

But Sparkes had suggested the couple were still together when Zurawski visited Glasgow to hold signing talks with Celtic in June.​

At the time, Sparkes said: "It is an opportunity for Gordon Strachan to look into his eyes and see if he really wants to become a Celtic player.​

"It is also a visit for him to find out what he and his wife would becoming to as this is a country he has never visited before."​

The footballer and his new lover are living together in a trendy apartment in Glasgow's Merchant City.​

Celtic team-mate Artur Boruc and his wife Jadwiga have their home just a few doors away.​

One of Zurawski's neighbours said: "They are totally besotted with each other.​

"They are always touching and cuddling​

"Neither of them speak any English so they don't mix much with their neighbours but they seem like nice folk."​

The £2million star has still to take his new girlfriend to a game at Celtic Park. A friend of Zurawski's said: "He is very sensitive about this. Everyone at Celtic was told he was married and they were asking when he was going to introduce his wife to people.​

"They put it down to Maciej being shy. He was spotted out and about with Natalja by some of the staff at Celtic and they assumed she was his wife.​

"Natalja is a beautiful girl and they are clearly in love."​

The bust-up with the TV crew came after they travelled to Glasgow to interview Zurawski about life at Celtic.​

The interviewer asked if his wife would be helping him decorate his new home.​

Zurawski stopped the interview, said that the question had to be edited out of the broadcast, and warned them he wouldn't answer any questions about his wife.​

He didn't mention Natalja.​

The couple were spotted last week walking hand in hand near their home.​

Zurawski, who is currently out of action with a hamstring injury, was limping.​

They walked slowly up the street before standing for a while to look in a shop window.​

Zurawski's girlfriend grabbed his backside before they both burst out laughing. They then walked to the trendy Oko sushi restaurant and looked at the menu but turned back when they spotted the doors were closed.​

On Wednesday - the night of the Old Firm CIS Cup match - Zurawski and Boruc's wife headed towards Parkhead but Natalja did not go to the match​

Meanwhile, Monika has moved back to her home town of Poznan from the couple's mansion in Krakow.​

It is not known whether she has started divorce proceedings against £10,000-a-week Zurawski.​

As one of his country's best players - he was Poland's top scorer and player of the year last season - Zurawski is a national hero He started his professional playing career at his home town club Lech Poznan.​

He moved from there to Wisla Krakow and soon became a fixture in the Polish national team.​

He has played for Poland 45 times and scored 14 goals.​

Celtic manager Strachan made Zurawski one of his first signings in July along with countryman Boruc.​

Goalkeeper Boruc has become a firm favourite with the fans after a stunning start to his season.​

Zurawski struggled to make much of an impression in early matches but has scored five goals in nine games.​

In a recent interview with a Polish football magazine, Zurawski that he was the "domestic" type who liked to stay at home and watch movies. He said: "I'm recognised more in Glasgow than I was in Krakow because people in Glasgow are more interested in football.​

"There are two really big clubs in Glasgow.​

"Theoretically they are hostile but Celtic and Rangers supporters respect each other"I don't know how it is in pubs because I'm not visiting any.​

"Im a calm person, rather a domestic type. In my spare time I watch movies, I play computer games, I listen to music.​

"I'm often going for a walk, and even more shopping​

if he's already split with his wife ang got another bird then it's a non-story.
He should have a word with his strike partner and tell him how to get the sequence of these things right.

 

TBH who cares - if the player has said there is nothing untoward going on then let that be enough for you.

For your info: Yes Zurawski were split with his wife before he left Poland and before he were in Poland he had also another women and anybody knewed this in Krakau and whole Poland. Enough said, take a look on football and not at other privat life!!!
