Maybe I missed this if posted before??

On-loan defender John Kennedy has cut short his loan spell with Norwich City after damaging a cartilage in his knee.

The Celtic defender has returned to Parkhead after scans revealed that he faces up to five weeks on the sidelines with the injury picked up during the 2-0 defeat at Reading last Saturday.

Kennedy has suffered a string of knee injuries throughout his career and Canaries boss Glenn Roeder is unsure whether he will now return to Carrow Road.

"He's going back up to Celtic to see their club physios and their club doctor and then they'll decide which surgeon to use," Roeder told his club's official website.

"Depending on what they find, he could be out for three to five weeks, so it won't just be a week or two, especially with the history he has with that knee.

"I need to see what the opinion is of the surgeon who performs his operation and obviously most importantly, what Gordon Strachan's views will be and whether he'll want to take John back after he's been here for the agreed amount of time of half a season." = 24th Jan

Big John on Celtic TV tonight. Out for another2/3 weeks. Injury not related to previous and nothing to fear. He`s keen to stay at CP and fight for place rather than return to Norwich but will depend on conversation with Strachan in coming days. Glenn Roeder mad keen to keep him at Carrow Rd.

Sorry if posted before but good news if we can get him back as cover/challenge to Caldwell/Mcmanus/Odea, maybe Glen Roeder would like Balde?

He has been extremely unlucky with injuries. as some said, he would be a top class defender by now. However it's unreal how he still stands up after every time he's been down again. his attitude and his will are out of this world!
