I dont think that's entirely fair. I'm a Roman Catholic and have very similar views to him. I think it's more to do with politics than anything. Anybody, whether they be Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu or Sikh, can surely see the oppresion of the Palestinian people by Israel is wrong and needs changing.

Hamas rockets have killed 20 Israelis in 8 years.
In 24 hours, Israeli air-strikes killed 240 Palestinians.

How is that even comparable. How could that possibly justify such a 'response'?

 

They believe they are the voice of the western world and world police. I'm glad most europeans don't believe everything they get told and try to gather facts about interesting subjects.

Then comes Matan Vilnai and threatens them with a holocaust.
what about the israeli settler in palä. they are a very peaceful bunch aren't they. plus the checkpoint stories...

FTB imo is very onesided. both sides have got massive blood on their hands, but he sounds like the monsters from the other side are responsible for everything and israel is the poor victim.

Martin, the Israelis arent responding to anything. There was a ceasefire in place, Israel broke it.

 

Teenagers join Hamas to hit back at Israel in any way they can.
Hamas dont own the teenagers as you have implied.

It's just a guerilla war tactic. Despicable. But no more despicable as Israel dropping bombs on public buildings and the like.

thats the whole point.had they maintained the ceasefire and stopped with their raids into gaza ,hamas wouldn't have been firing rockets.also its stolen land,it isn't israels to begin with
if someome on here posted a picture showing the dead or say 7/7 and i claimed thats just brit propaganda,they've doctored those photos i'm sure you'd be outraged.
yet you just saw a picture of dead palestinian children and your response was "like muslims don't doctor photo's"
the dead of london have been lionised yet a murderous raid from israel that took the lives of 6 times as many (and counting) means so little that you can blame the victims

Instead of arguing about how is at fault, what would be your solution to the problem?

 

I'd say a clear cut solution is practically impossible at this stage, the mess is too great. Hopefully something can be worked out to placate both sides and stop the bloodshed.

I'd be damned if I know what though.
