What he done at woodstock was unreal ,a lot of people new of jimi hendrix after that gig the world new ,the guy should be credited for giving us guitar music as a rocker ,and blues and anything else as we know it today ,pure magic ,,,could you imagine him today playing wwwwoooooooooooooooffffffffffffffffffffffffff blow you away .

Anyone know Rab McCullough? He's a blues guitarist, think he played with Hendrix at one stage. He does an unreal cover of Red House - 2nd only to Jimi's himself. I've seen im in Belfast a few times, he plays The Empire a lot!

Maybe youve seen him Clagan?

 

i've only seen him a few hundred times mate

we used to always go to blues night in the empire and that other bar he plays in near the docks, cant remember the name. i like him but he plays the same songs all the time and the sound in the empire is deafening, annoys me at times but an excellent guitar player and his band are tight too

 

Seeing him playing Voodoo Child is unreal too, playing behind his back, solo with his teeth, the whole lot! Great stuff!

Have you seen that other blues band that play the Empire, i think theyre called the Three Martini's or something - Play alot of great covers! Although they too could do with mixing up their playlist a bit!

haven't seen that other band mate, must check them out some time, what night do they play? the other bar rab plays in that i couldn't remember is the rotterdam btw.

do you remember the wee fella with the grey hair and glasses who goes to every blues night in the empire and dances round the the front of the stage? got some great moves for an old timer

Ah man! I forgot about that wee guy, he's * brilliant! He does * cartwheels n all lol! I remember one time, this lanky camp-looking old guy started goin wild with the dancin up front too and they ended up havin what can only be described as a dance off!

That wee old man always seemed to end up dancin away with some hot young bird too lol!

 

i've seen that boy have many a dance off mate. one of my friends used to challenge him all the time, had some great nights in there.

i can never remember his name but he's quite a well known artist, and aye the chicks love him. this is putting me in the mood to go this week, haven't been in ages

 

Ah didn't know he was an artist! I havnt been in a couple of weeks, i dont usually be in Belfast off-term but i'll be headn up for a night in the Empire soon as next semester starts! :icon_mrgreen:
