Name a player who reminds you of Henrik Larsson?

No one!

Henrik was so unique, he has everything touch, vision, good with both feet, good in the air, can hold up play, run channels, his work rate is unreal, composed, well disciplined, leadership qualities, role model on and off the park and the main thing for me with all these attributes is his consistency. I dont think i ever seen the great man have a poor game, ther may have been times when he had a quiet game but then he would score or create something out of nothing

I try not to be biased but Henrik for me is the best player i have ever seen!!

 

Is my Pele comparison a bit much? Does anyone else think they are similar?

 

I am only comparong him to players that i have seen e.g, Bergkamp and Raul and the likes. Dont want to compare him to players i have only seen old clips of.

But he is better than Pele anyway haha

 

Mmm Obviously there is only one king of kings but i'd say Roberto baggio in his prime.

 

I wouldn't say it was a bit much.
On a Larsson dvd I have, he states that Pele is his footballing idol.
So there's a good chance he modelled parts of his game on Pele.

two footed ability of zidane and also the way in which zidane glided across the field a think henrik wis the same ( no the same skill but no were neer zidanes skill )

passion ( raul or del piero )

mean henry saying "People always talk about Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Giuly and everything, but I didn't see them today, I saw Henrik Larsson. He came on, he changed the game, that is what killed the game. Sometimes you talk about Ronaldinho and Eto'o and people like that; you need to talk about the proper footballer who made the difference, and that was Henrik Larsson tonight

I think Henrik has a bit of Bergkamp about him,with his touch, composure and vision mixed with Crespo finishing. You could go on all day saying who he was like and so on, but at the end of the day hes Henrik Larsson and hes the King of Kings, we should be saying Raul and co. are like him rather than he is like them :icon_mrgreen:!

Nobody he is a unique legend, they cannot be replecated.

 

Cant think of anyone who had 8 or 9/10 for all parts of his game, on the last dvd it talks about when we were down to 10 men against Dundee and Henkes discipline in helping the team.

Also remembered when he rounded the keeper against St Johnstone and passed to Brattbakk for his Hat trick, always aware of others arount him and how to get the best out of team mates. He done everything in his power to help Harry in this game knowing he was low on confidence.

I'd have liked to have seen Naka or Juninho with Henke. I think Berkovic was a really good player but failed when Larsson got injured.

He could get the best out of everyone. Unique.
