    I heard it myself aswell, he was talkin to Adrian Durham and Ian Wright on Talksport.

    When asked about speculation over his West Ham future and possible offers from Man City and Celtic he said somethin along the lines of >>

    "Man City made a bid during the summer but Alan Curbishley told me they weren't accepting bids, as for the Celtic offer, i loved my time up there and i am good friends with Peter Lawell, but when was the last time you saw Celtic pay 7 - 7.5 million for a player, plus they wouldn't be able to pay me what West Ham are paying me now so i don't think that will happen any time in the near future......... then he started talkin about somethin else and i switched the station over :50:

    Bellamy was fantastic for us in the 6 months he was here. He scored a hatrick, against Dundee Utd i think, which was out of this world. Also goals against Aberdeen and Rangers were top class.

    I dont think he willl be back at CP, certainly not any time soon - and i dont mind. As much as i think he is a good footballer, i dont like some of the things he does or says.

    Like the golf club incident at Liverpool. Or the texts he sent Alan Shearer.

    Things of that nature. Obviously i dont know the guy, so i cant comment to much. But just an impression he gives off.

    Yeah I tend to think people overate him as well. Think he averages roughly a goal every three games in the EPL.

    Think he has 2 in 13 this season. :97:

    Obviously a free spirit who is not afraid to express an opinion - ringing any bells here? - but a great footballer, fastest thing i`ve seen on a football pitch. Not the most natural finisher, could have had game won at fir park 2005, injury prone - all fast guys struggle with hamstrings- but would be a truly class signing. This is level we should be aiming for. But it will not happen. Why? Min 50k wek wages.

    This is a prime example to anyone that suggests we wouldn't explode if we moved down south. Bellamy would come here in a heartbeat; it's not Celtic he's turning down it's the lack of wages, the lack of transfer fee and probably the lack of decent opposition to test himself.

    He's just one player as well, there would be literally thousands more and of a better quality.

    First of all, for clarification purposes, i am not gay but respect the right of people to live their lives how they choose - sexually or otherwise. But i must say that is one particular * that i could very easily get excited about - i hhope he comes!
