i would be a bit of a masterstroke by the managment team. Can you imagine it we're all feeling demoralised and worried about calldwell having to lay in midefiel then bang back in the starting lineup the player of the year. Would be pretty good would it not?

GS will have something up his sleeve. We will be surprised in the next couple of weeks, I'd put a fair sum on it.

Masterstroke and GS dont sit comfortably in same sentence. No chance of McGeady appearing before New Year if at all. I don't agree that football managers can give verbal to players the way they do.
But he still needs to apologise first before he has any chance of playing against Rangers.
GS is holding all the Aces right now and if he want to play he'll need to come down a peg.

Think the wee man could go down on his hands and knees and it wouldn`t make a difference. IMO Strachan will ostracise him to the extent that a transfer is inevitable. If he proved me wrong, my opinion of him would alter dramatically.

there is not a snowflake's chance in * that this is a hoax...I think this is how it'll play out: McGeady might apologize but Strachan's mind is made up. He won't be sold over the winter transfer period but he'll probably move on in the summer. I really hope I'm wrong but I can't see them making amends.

 

Bit confused by your post Jinky. Please clarify. I think you`re saying Aiden`s history. Strachan won`t bend regardless. If so, what`s your view?

 

Think hes saying even if McGeady appologises, Strachan wont change his mind on the 2 week ban.

im not sure i agree about the "not being sold over the winter period" part though. to clarify, i want McGeady to stay. he is our best outfield player in my oppinion (ok, not on current form) but hes still the same player that dismantled Benfica in 2006.

i hope more than anything he walks out on the pitch against Rangers but cant see it. ill be honest, i have mixed views over strachans personality, one minute hes fun and games the next hes an arrogant *, or that is what we're lead to believe. but i do respect him for what he has and will hopefully continue doing with celtic, and thats winning the league.
