Smeone from within the dressing room (big Mick) should come out and give his opinion on this affair. The players will either be with the club or the player and i think it's important the players are with the club or our season could be well and truly *. I don't think i could work with WGS he's an arogant little * who rubs people up the wrong way, but whilst he's the boss he deserves the players respect and his results speak for themselves. McGeady is being paid thousands of our money to put up with it after all.

 

Last season, he went off in a huff after being subbed. He apologised in the media the next day

 

When it comes out that it was McGeadys fault I'll look forward to your rant at McGeady instead of this bandwagon crap. Some of the posts on this thread are nothing short of disgraceful

 

mcdonald done it infront of the whole stadeium in a game last season when he got subed.....shook his head at wgs as if to say he diddnt know what he was doing

 

ive got to agree with murdo mcleod todays record bigger and better players have had a wee tickin off and took it and got on with it. if mcgeady wants to spit the dummy and start demanding moves then * him. theres only been 2 players in my time that have stepped up after celtic or the huns and a don't see a huffy mcgeady turning out for barca.

Sorry, a 2 week suspension for backchat to the manager is bullshit and unless I hear a * good * reason for depriving the fans of our best player for our biggest game of the season, Im completely with the anti-strachan band on this one.

 

Theres me wishing all this * with aiden n the manager was runours out the window. Suspended from training for two weeks ffs, i really don't want to blame Strachen as i don't know why he's been fined n suspended but i think aidens most likely decision will he wll leave which i hope he doesn't or stay maybe for the rest of the season without putting his all in. We better no let him go for peanuts if he does but i hope he n Strachen can settle this situation.

 

Oh * , I wish the club would come out and say exactly what he did . He will definately be off in Januray and our chances of a result at Ibrox have gone straight down the drain . I hope Strachan is looking to buy flair players in Jan because we need them our last 3 league games have been dire

 

Of course it was McGeadys fault and he's been fined, but a 2 week suspension?

Suspensions are for players that do something * ridiculous and as I said, if someone knows of something beyond back-chatting the manager, then let us all hear it.

I know people are biased towards McGeady because he plays for Ireland, but defending him for breaking club rules is just ludicrous. He comes across as someone who must get the last word in a conversation/argument, He also comes across as someone who thinks they're hilarious and cracks jokes at inappropriate times. I'd bet he tried it with Strachan, if so, he deserves everything he got, if he can't respect his managers decisions then he can * off. We don't need that kind of personality in the dressing room, and we shouldn't put up with it because its Aiden McGeady.

 

Where is your source for that? Nobody knows the real reason but you have your mind made up with a confirmation of the truth.

And what about the board supporting the suspension. If Strachan was in the wrong, do you think the Board would have supported his decision?

 

Saying on real radio that aiden was verbally abusive to WGS and that the boss walked out the room and Gary Pendry went in to talk to aiden and he got the same. Apparently WGS said at this point he wasnt getting involved in a slanging match that he would deal with it in his own way.

Strachans in the same school of thought as probably the greatet Scottish manager of all time - Alex Ferguson. Take no * from players no matter who the * they are. Beckham? Van Nistlerooy (world class striker), Jaap Stam (World Class centre-back). If they give any * they can get to *.

However as I say until I've heard the truth I will be sitting on the fence but I have to say - who do I trust - a cocky little jump or a guy with 4 decades in the game.
