    Tough one, quite a few players could get it, but went for Aiden because it was just great seeing him back in the team and he scored a good goal. Saying that Hinkel kept up his good form and Nakamura was just taking the * out of them in the 2nd half.

    mcgeady was * amazing!!! better than naka for sure and this just proves how much we need him starting all games!!!!! Naka was good but no were near as good as aiden tonight!!! samaras was minging and has been for weeks but i am huige supporter of his and hope he does well!!!! COULD HAVE BEEN 5 OR 6 TONIGHT EASY!!!! So good performance and 59000 supporters!!!!! not bad for a game that doesnt MEAN ANYTHING!!!!! Shame on the * who sold there tickets, including the baw bags out side the ground >>>>>>unless good reasons ov course!!!!

    id agree definetly a close one between Naka, Brown, McGeady and Hinkel.........i went for mcgeady, thats the most hes put into a game all year. hoope he keeps playing like that

    naka for me, although i think he may have played so good because he knows its his last champs league game for us. Hopefully not eh. hinkel was class too, with brown and mcgeady close behind.

    it really that a bit of genius in midfield makes a huge difference. i think Naka would have won the game against Hibs had he won....last Sat we had not creativity with Caldwell in midfield. I only hope we have a replacement in mind for when Naka leaves

    I go with Hinckel as he really gave us a platform early on in the game with a couple of crucial blocks when Villareal were dangerous on the counter and was rock solid defensively all night. The longer the game went on he also became more of a factor for us going forward.
    Plenty of other good performances throughout the team as well. Good to see Boruc make the big save in the second half. Caldwell was excellent again as was the whole midfield especially Nakamura and McGeady.
