    ok iv linked both up via vga cable, picture is qaulity, but iv no sound from tv speakers? just pc ones!? any ideas?

    What he says^ but i just use a set of speakers i bought when i had my desktop, there belters and i just put em nfront of the tv when using them n away in the cupboard when am not.

    the back of most hdtv's should have an adio jack similar to the ones in a laptop or desktop ie the green bit but for some reason when i plug my speakers into that it doesnt work lol i think i need to yous the composit wire instead of the vga tbh but id have to try that theory first

    thanks, could i get a vga to hdmi plug? as tv has hdmi but pc has not..
