Was it just me or did Lubo not get as many starts as he should have under MON? Just checked his wiki and he had 76 appearances in 4 years.

If you are talking about pure skill then Lubo but in terms of how much they helped the team then maybe Naka?

    Skillwise:

    Lubo
    Di Canio
    Naka
    Annoni

There was only room for either Petrov or Lubo in O'Neill's side when you take into account Lennon and Lambert played every game they were available.

Still, Lubo had absolutely everything including a very under rated heading ability.

This is a total non-poll. Naka is a decent player who can take a good free-kick. Lubo was a genius who, along with Zidane, is the most two-footed footballer I've ever seen.

In short, Naka couldn't lace Lubo's boots. HAIL HAIL

Lubo was a class act but i think people are getting carried away here with things like

"nakamura wouldnt have laced his boots"

I don't agree with that in the slightest

Yup, doing a dis-service to a great player by saying stupid stuff like that.

Naka is as technically gifted as any player that's played for Celtic, his shortcomings are more to do with the fact he doesn't tackle and in some games he goes hiding nothing to do with his ability.

Still, when he eventually does leave he leaves us with several big time memories.

Both great technicians of the game, but i have to say lubo edges it due to the fact he was two footed. I think Naka has done more for the club, just down to the fact he scored the goal that took us to the last 16 the first time.
