I got promoted with Salernitana after a 4-1 win at home to Cagliari on the last day, finished second behind Frosinone, who were too good with the likes of Hulk in their team.

I reached promotion in large part due to my strong defensive record, conceded only 23 goals in 42 games. Van Damme, Onuoha, Piccolo and others were like rocks at the back. My first choice keeper had 24 clean sheets and a lot of my wins were 1-0.

Now the building for survival begins.
