I do think he only got his chance due to injuries but well done to him for impressing enough to get a start.

 

He's doing well but let's be honest, we would have had a FAR better chance against United with Jan and Sammy.

 

He may have turned it on just a little late, with Sammy back you have got to guess he will feature this weekend, maybe WGS will res Skippy, but I doubt it. I think we have seen the back of Sheridan in the short term, he did well and it wont hurt his chances when the injuries come round again.

 

You can more or less predict what threads will be on here everyday lol. The guy scored a couple of goals last night, doesnt make him a good striker. We have coped well with the absense of the 2 big strikers however we havnt had regular goal scorers. Sheridan looks pretty lanky and clumsy at the minute but with experience he should improve. When big jan and samaras are back he'll be pushed back to the back of the queue again, no doubt about that

 

I'm still not sure about the big man. Saying that he's still only 19. Thought he played well last night but in my opinion he was up against the worst team i've seen this season. Think big Ben Hutchinson looks a better prospect to be honest and he deserves a chance (maybe the chance is gone now big Sammy's back).

Deserves a lot of praise for keeping the team going upfront amidst all our injuries and at the very least he has let WGS know that he can trust him when needed.

 

Physically, he's not all there yet. Hopefully he fills out like the club hopes he will and then he'll be able try and do what Sutton did for us

 

I've noticed he's very good off the ball, makes great runs, but doesn't do much when he receives it.

2 of his 3 goals have been really composed too.

 

How glad are we that we didn't blow 3millions on Kyle Laugh-erty, he's * mince & Sheridan has done great.

His head flicks & link up play is really good, his finishing looks composed & he's fairly fast - seems to have a brain too - which is unusual for a footballer.

 

Sheridan has only come in because of a injury crisis but those are the breaks you need in football. Last year it was Scott Brown's suspension that made Strachan try something completely new.

If Laugherty is worth £3.5M, Sheridan is definately close but he needs games to continue his development which wont happen when the injuries clear up

 

Looks to be a great find. Hope he can develop and get better and better in the next few years. His confidence is up and he is playing preety good so I'd like to see him start the next game. One for the future, for sure.

 

for some one to only be playing football for 2 years to get a game in the first team is really something out of this world he should be proud of himself to be able to go out against manchester utd after 2 years as a professional is fukin unheard of pardon my french

lads strachan is only playin sheridan cause he has nobody else... soon as the other bhoys come back he wont get a sniff..... there will be games when our centre forwards are doing absolutely nothing and not in the game ..... you will find yourself shouting at the TV or from the stands to bring on the irish bhoyand give him a chance and i bet strachan will just refuse to do so....... partly the reason why he is not that popular among the majority of the fans.... very set in his ways

 

he's getting goals which is what strikers are for but i haven't seen anything so far to make me think he's gonna be a good player. but he's still young and i hope he continues to improve and doesn't end up like mark burchill
