What is going on with Due Wie is he just a publicity stunt to sell jerseys or is he going to make an impact at CP?

I can see Du Wei heading back to China in January, Strachan has said he is close to making his debut, but where is he going to fit in ? Whilst I acknowledge our back line isn't exactly impressive does Strachan start to tinker with it having finally established a somewhat regular defensive line up ?

Agree with you Big D virgo deserves more opportunities he had to play defensive mid when lenny was suspended and thats not his natural position. Other than he's been making appearances off the bench.

What about Sutton as a holding midfielder, and again there is Virgo who can play in that position. Lawson could be the long term answer, but he will need to get more first team opportunities.
Virgo was signed as a right back, so we will have to wait and see what a fully fit Virgo can do, also we have the young boy ( whose name escapes me at the moment ) who started pre-season at right back before getting injured.
I think Du Wei will get his chance soon, Bobo and Camara are away in January on international duty, so there is an opportunity for someone to step up.
I trust Strachan's judgement, so whoever he signs I'll support, but he has already stated that he might not make anymore signings this season.

A would go for Ian Harte at left back, Paul Hartley as a midfield partner for Petrov, and Xander Diamond of Aberdeen tae strenghen us in the center of defense. Would also sign up Agathe on a longer contract.

Blagoy Georgiev would be my choice to replace Lennon. Leighton Baines from Wigan to replace Camara. Dui Wei in beside McManus and sell Balde. Adam Virgo at right back. Great young defence to build for the future. Money to spend if we sell Balde, Thompson, Varga, Agathe, Lennon and Hartson.

:50: Sell Varga,Hartson,Balde+ur right there ZamasBhoy i think G.S. is wanting to us Du-Wei as our new Backbone off the team with him+McManus or even Virgo,Leighton Baines is on a free tansfer in the Jan. window,Yes that Blagoy Georgiev is a good holding midfielder+great passer off the ball+we could get him cheap!

I think all the money is gone for the season.

We'll go with what we've got.

Totally agree that's what I was saying to one of my Pals about Paul Hartley and Xander Diamond but I'd spend 2 Million on a good left back cause that's where teams can exploit us dunno if Harte would be any better than Camara and I definately agree Agathe must stay and play right back instead of Telfer.

I wouldn't be to worried about a left back at the moment and if I was I wouldn't be going for Ian Harte. Right back is the biggest problem I think but surely it would be a good thing to give Agathe / Virgo a shot at it. If Agathe isn't in the plans anymore then we MUST sign one in January.

I think we should wait till Gary Irvine's fit again, and maybe have a wee look at him. i wouldn't think that would be doing any harm, i mean look what bringing forward the likes of McManus/Maloney/Beattie has done?!?

I agree, no more money 4 this seson, so we will have to think how to win, but only with the use of the guns that we have now.

I read again in the papers that Robbie Keane is linked with a 6m move the Celtic in January. I believe he would be worth the stretch as I believe Harston's personal problems are affecting his game and him moving away is likely.

Imagine Majic & Keane up front, Huns would be running for cover. And if the other Keane came in next year we would have great depth in our squad. I reckon Virgo will be pushing strong for a starting place by the end of the season

we need to get rid of thompson as he's just not doing it. We also need a left back instead of camra. I would take the 5 million offer for hartson as he is to slow. I would go for a holding midfielders as lennons on his last legs.

we would be absolutely stone-daft to pay £6m for a player with 6 months to run on his current contract. i would attempt to arrange a pre contract if it was my choice.

Robbie Keane has 6 months left to run out on his current contract? Are you thinking of the other Keane?
