Mizuno

I know he only got a few minutes so its hard to judge him, but how did young koki get on today? Did the physicality of the game seem to trouble him at all?

He wasn't short of confidence from what i seen of him.

 

Obviously the other players were tired but he showed great determination to get forward and support play which is what we need badly.

 

I deffo like the look of him

 

that guy is going to be big.he is just a huge class above everybody else in the reserve league and i think that mizuno and crosas should both be given good runs in the team now as koki epsecially deserves it.

Wasn't on long enough to do much but he looks good fast wee player good one for the future.

 

He had a good shot at goal but a wee bit too much power in it and it went wide, he was aiming for the far top corner though coming in at a tight angle so he doesnt lack vision anyway

 

Wasn't on long but get forward and ulucky to score. I thynk physicality be ok.

 

Strachan needs to give him games. He could be useful as an impact sub when we can't bust defenses open. He's got marvelous crossing.

I thought he looked decent today for a few minutes. However, in the reserves I think he has looked average and McCourt has looked far better. McCourt is injured again BTW.

 

I think Mizuno could come in very handy around the league split when people start gettn tired n hes gelled with the team a bit more. Him n McCourt will both be good.

I thought he did very well today. With McGeady, Nakamura, and Maloney all questionable I think he deserves more than a couple minutes. His debut has been a long time coming.
It's interesting to see him upfront -- apparently he also played up there against ManU reserves midweek. I thought that one was just because of injuries, but today Strachan left Hutchinson on the bench. So maybe he does he Koki as a striker ?
