Withdrawal is sometimes more suicidal than gung-ho approach.

Someone always has to moan! What is your problem? We drew with the European Champions last night and all you can do is talk about how bad the tactics were! Ok, we were playing too deep at times but the Bhoys had worked there scoks off all the rest of the game!

In my opinion its a well done to WGS and Hail Hail to the Bhoys!

    Hail Hail

I think we'd all love to see the team charging forward at every opportunity but it's not always practical or realistic. That can be attributed to an abject fear of being humped, or simply down to the fact the powers that be don't think the players they have at their disposal are not good enough t0 beat the other side, whoever they are.

The fact is Man Utd are a superb footballing side who can play a physical game as easily as a technical game and they are in my mind the best team in the world at the moment. We went one up through a moment of fantastic individual skill and awareness and had a couple of other moments in the first half when we gave them a few scares but not one person can honestly admit they couldn't see that Man U goal coming. From the minute Berbatov walked onto the park we sat about 10 yards too deep. We were fantastic in the first half and wouldn't allow Man U the time and space to play but they still looked a level above us and the way they moved the ball about and made space for each other was mesmerising at times and they weren't even full strength.

Boruc was criticised for the goal but when you watch it again, you'll see he was unsighted by our defenders packed along the 18yd line. The ball moved a lot in flight and he done as good as he could, it was just unlucky it fell to Giggs and not a couple of yards the orthe side, at Caldwell's feet.

We were minutes away from doing them again and Fergie had to roll out the big guns in Roonie and Berbatov to chase the game, so in that respect we have nothing to regret or be disappointed for, but I do agree in that I'd dearly love to see us going at teams like Man U in a more direct way at times.

That would be a valid argument if we'd lost. Fact is we were 6 minutes away from winning so your point is moot and frankly nonsense.

Nonsense...then explain how they didn't score earlier. As it is the goal came about by a stroke of good fortune. You're only * off because Nakamura didn't play and you don't have the balls to admit it.

Fact is if he had played he'd have spent his time on the park in the back pocket of the nearest United player. That was no game for the faint hearted and he'd have been posted awol from the warm up.

I'm not * off, but just wondering why did we pull the shutters up too early. And I wouldn't play Nakamura, as he is still injured...

He made the bench, so he wasn't injured.

The guy's entitled to his opinion without you starting to berate him personally. No need for it and if anyone needs to get a grip it's you. Keep it civil.

They were restricted to long range efforts the entire match almost so i don't buy into the fact we were mauled. Their first half attempts read 12 with either 3 or 4 on target, i can't quite remember. It wasn't as bad as at Old Trafford were they carved us open at will.

There was no way we were going to attack the best side in the world just after we've taken the lead. Like Strachan said they are leagues above us so why even try and play them at their own game? I think the tactics were correct, I thought the changes came at the right times and we were unlucky to be beaten by an assist from a player that shouldn't have been on the park following an off the ball swipe.

    I would agree with this.

For all their possession they created very few clear cut chances. This idea that we would have won if we had attacked them more is nonsense.

WGS got the tactics spot on,and the team carried out the tactics to the letter. If he had attacked and opened up and we had lost heavily, imagine the criticism he would have received.

Give the manager and players some credit, they where a few minutes away from a terrific result against the European champions.A result the vast majority of us would have settled for before a ball was kicked.

giggs said afterwards oh we deserved to win bullshit !!! At the end of the day the team who scores most wins and if we had held on we would have deserved it . Our game plan worked for the most and we where under more pressure last time they were here . I thought it was a great game and we deserved a lot of credit for the way we played especially with so many players out and i for one was proud to watch the game . I hope / pray we can get through but realistically we need to secure the uefa cup place and who knows maybe we can hit another final . I also thought a few players who seem to get stick had good games last night eg : hinkle and donatti when he came on and mark wilson was brilliant too . I think thats maloneys best game in a celtic shirt 2nd time round and scott brown just gets better with every game . I would also like to give credit to the manager for getting his tactics and * spot on good on the lot of them .
