so why the * do other clubs get in and get away with these sick banners with crap like big jock knew etc etc.:47: on them.
its fast becoming tiresome and out of order but everyone is dedicated to take us down for singing ira songs while they beastie * keep getting away with that obscene crap they find funny.
its not as in depth a talking point compared to what we are hearing.....this is scandalous and out of order and now something really needs to be done about that crap aswell:31:

Its because no offence but scotland is a protestant country and i think the general public ( non celtic supporters ) cant stand the irish community and just dont like celtic for the fact we have irish links. I feel the sfa and the media are very anti celtic. Whatever chance they have to put us down they pounce on it. They like to protect their pure scottish clubs.

Its because no-one outside Scotland gives a * about clubs like Hearts, so they get away with it because they are not representing Scotland.

agreed their all agenst us they all hate the fact we'r one of the biggest clubs to grace the game they cant stand it every1 of them would rather hav the filth in our position a perfect example of this is they way they are bein treated over the famine song its sickening abuse!the full of scotland racially abuse the irish youngsters that play in scotland mcgeady odea mcarthur sheridan etc i was outraged to read david murray in the metro today on the bus saying that the blame is always placed on rangers for racial or sectarian chants or singin i,v only heard rebel tunes a few times this season at aaway games and its a small minority celtic are takin steps to hammer it out of the support and the filth do nothing except promote any songs which help hav a dig at celtic and republic of ireland descendants examples of this are at ibrox when they play the potato song whenever a goal is scored and the sponsor sings all the way round the pitch are roast potato's this is not just by chance i think it is a reference to the famine song

To be honest what do we expect when our fans could clearly be heard singing pro IRA songs at Tynecastle?

We demand, rightfully, that the Rangers' support get hammered for singing their bile and yet some get insulted when the media turns their attention on some of our own fans' vitriol. Those who throw stones should not build glass houses fro themselves and i think the behaviour of some fans on Sunday went a good way to destroying the gap we had established between the expected behaviour of our fans and those of Rangers.

From the media reports i have read it has been fairly evenly reported about the abuse the Hearts fans were giving and our own sectarian singing, obviously more emphasis by some is on Celtic because we are the bigger club and are under the bigger spotlight. Don't claim bias by the media, we have long cried "bigots!" when we heard the Rangers' fans singing sectarian songs, i guess it's their prerogative to shout "bigots!" back at us.

The Hearts' abuse was pretty bitter, but i think we should get our own house in order before we get too precious about other clubs'. There is no point trying to escape the blame for something by pointing the finger and saying, "they were doing it too". That is just playground politics, let's just give the media nothing to whinge about. Then we can go back to making sure Rangers are always portrayed as the bad guys.

You're right, but we are one of the two clubs that probably make up about 60% of the support in Scotland. When Rangers were being caught singing sectarian songs then t was highlighted in the media, it is only fair and right that when our fans do it it gets highlighted also.

As for the Hearts' fans, i've sat in with them twice now. On Sunday i was in the Gorgie stand (opposite where the Celts were) and those fans were fine. Last year i sat in the stand beside the away support and the Hearts' fans there were doing * salutes.... I guess the troublemakers get seats as close to the opposition to wind them up. Their abuse has been and will get highlighted but the impact made on their reputation (and therefore punishment from the SFA) will be far greater if we are not doing the same thing.

im kind of sick of this same argument we have about us gettng more coverage than other teams. the fact is that, especially in the wake of the famine song and the abuse James mcarthy has received, our away fans had and ideal oppertunity to show the sfa and the media and scotland as a whole that we are not like the rangers fans and we support our team without the need for sectarian singing. at the hearts game the fans didn't take that oppertunity and to be honest were an embarassment to every real Celtic fan worldwide and to the club as a whole and our heritage

So are you expecting the Scots to defend immigrants who sing songs about an organisation that killed their countrymen?

A lot of Hearts fans thought that 'Oo ah Samaras' was actually 'Oo ah up the ra'
