He is a legend that briefly played for his boyhood heroes. Shame it took him so long to fall out with Fergie.

If he had stayed for a couple of years at the end of his career then i would have been delighted. But that he only stayed 4 months makes me feel that the club got used. Playing for Celtic should not be something to tic off quickly before you retire.

A Man U legend. An Ireland traitor. Nothing in Celtic terms although I thought he helped push team 2 over the line when we wobbled a bit.

wasn't here long enough to be considered a Celtic legend imo , I also don't think he was a " chancer " though

Firstly lets get something straight. Roy Keane supported Tottenham Hotspurs as a youngster, Celtic was secondary.

Football Legend but not a Celtic Legend.

legend for celtic?? you mad??? you cant become a legend just because you support a team he played 10 games or some thing was mince for about 6 of them and collected a cool>>>> est 1 million for playing 10 games and scoring 1 goal that bounced of 3 defenders before hitting the net. I also believe if you support a club you shouldn,t be there for the money, i personally would play for * all, i wouldnt fleece my club out of money!!!! He was a legend for man yuuuuuuuuu but

And before some 1 hits me with figures saying he was offerd £50 grand a week and just asked for £15 a dont believe that 1 bit, he would have been on about £30 grand a week imo, if not more, but i do agree he did not come up for 1 last pay day

Man Utd legend, not a Celtic legend by any stretch, that's just ridiculous. Anyway, he's a thug.

He was box to box till his legs started to go, then he became a holding midfielder, kind of like what we did to hartley.

Nowhere near a Celtic legend, came here for a few months.
Unless he scored 20 goals, danced around players, and kicked Novo in the balls all in his time, then maybe.

agree with your first point, why was he a thug, did he go round robbin' grannys pensions?

He was brought up in a tough working class area of cork were they eat there young and that moulded him...

He talks about seein the red mist, but sure doesnt everybody?:shamrock:

Most influential footballer during the premier league era, an absolute winner and a United legend, at the same level that only a handful, very illustrious players have been in the history of United (Charlton, Best, Law, Edwards, Giggs and Cantona).

Yes, he was a thug, like Tommy Smith or Souness were a thug for liverpool or Peter Storey for Arsenal, but on top of that he was a brilliant footballer, one of the bests I've ever seen. And the kind of player you'd adore if he played for your club and made you win trophies.
