    Sylvinho doens't really seem to count for Guardiola this season, he only gets to play some minor games. He was kind of back-up for Abidal, but with Abidal out now, Guardiola seems to prefer Puyol as left back. And with Milito coming back after January and Caceres also able to play left back, it doesn't look as if things will change this season.

    The only reason Barcelona might like to keep him is for his role in the dressingroom. He's really a great guy who gets along with everyone and who takes care of the newcomers.

    great catch if we get him, our side needs more experience especially in europe, plus he'll be down the wing all day for us in the SPL..

    my only concern is wages, would he move to glasgow for 20-30grand a week?

    I really don't understand why we are even considering going for Sylvinho. Apparently his wages are very high, and even worse than that he is nearly 35!!! :97: Surely to goodness there is a left-back out there who is A. Better than Lee Naylor B. Not nearing zimmer frame age and C. Doesn't cost more than 3 or 4 million pounds to sign. SURELY???

    There simply has to be a left back out there who meets these 3 criteria and if there is then we should drop all interest in Sylvinho immediately. Signing 35yo's is not the way forward. HAIL HAIL
