The games pretty much at all level of womens football are of a very bad standard, but i have no problem with woman enjoying and playing the game. Now womans boxing is something i just dont enjoy watching at all.

All positive comments regarding this for the first time on here, so far anyway... lol :)
I enjoy watching Celtic play, ovbiously, wouldn't say I'm a huge football fanatic though, I just happen to have a passion for Celtic. I'll admit that my technical knowledge of the game is probably not as hot as the average guys, like all this talk of player positions etc, tbh, I just don't really get it or bother with it...
But don't see why a girl should be deemed unworthy of follwing football or playing it, especially when it comes to a club like Celtic that is inclusive to all.

    Bingo...

Although ... I'd like to think this doesn't apply to the female who used to sit behind me at Parkhead constantly on the phone, talking about how hot Boruc looked, how much so and so's jeans were etc.
I've not seen/heard her yet this season, thankfully

But yeah, any woman who genuinely likes/follows (which is about 90% of the woman who claim to like it imo) football is sound.

Sadly for women there are too many females who claim to be fans when they know very little. Women who know their stuff though really know their stuff and should not be classed as unworthy of being a fan.

to be honest i probably would be quite sexist and assume you didn't know what you were talking about, but if you proved me wrong i would change my opinion

It's because a lot of the female pundits on TV are hired because of their looks and not their knowledge, and that gives most real women fans a bad name. In the US, they have a former Women's National Team player Julie Fowdy do studio work and whenever she explains "what is going on" I feel like doing this: :31: But men have to be better about separating the tv women from the women who are fans.

The biggest Celtic fan I know is female.
She does happen to know quite a lot about the game.

not a big fan of women football. but I don't mind them doing it. I'd say 20% of female supporters are useable, the other ones just go to see the games because of their men (family) or because they fancy certain players or because it's cool to go to a football match.

not saying every man is useable or got any knowledge about football at all either, far from it!
