    Hi guys, i have a question for you all, regarding Boruc ?

    Now do not get the wrong idea i really like Boruc, but do you think his legend status at parkhead is more to do with the way he sticks it up the huns than with his displays, it is just i was talking to a few people in the pub the other night and they were asking if i liked his antics and did i think it made celtic a laughing stock cos he is always in the papers, so just thought i would ask for your opinons.

    i do generally think he is a quality goal keeper. i have seen some amazing saves from him,and the fact he doesn't like rangers is just a plus for us celtic fans.
    above all his 'antics' i do think he can perform imo.

    i speak to this boy who isn't a celtic fan but is a keeper and he really rates boruc.

    Yeah i know he can preform there is no doubt about that i was just wondering if you thought his antics were a bit much at times ?

    I like his antics, and the fact that now he can not do anything correct. Do you know how many football players cross themselves before during and after a game. I think he sees them being critical of that and says, screw you, you complain and Ill just keep doing it.

    Look back, almost every legend player, was up to the antics, Jinky, best, Cantona, Gazza (sorry), and about 30 more, they were all bigger than life, and as long as they can laugh at themselves and do not cause harm to others, who cares, he keeps us in the paper and thats Global, there is no such thing as bad publicity, just publicity.

    Am the same i think he is the best goal keeper we have ever had !! his shot stopping is some thing else!! if he was in the epl he would get more reconigtion than peter chech, they would all be raving about him, he has made some mistakes what goal keeper hasn,t anyway i would put some of these mistakes down to hangovers:rolleyes: He is a great keeper and i love the way he winds up the opposition, thats just part of football, and a bit of fun!!

    Best goalkeeper we have had in many years, he does have his off days but he is still a top quality goalkeeper.

    A top quality keeper who has saved us on so many occasions. That alone makes him a legend.
    The fact he is an eccentric and hates the Huns only endears him more to the Celtic fans

    He's one of the top 5 keepers in the world, the antics only obtain him cult status...his quality is unquestionable for me.

    The best keeper I have seen at celtic in 60 years and like all geniuses seems to have that bit of madness. Don't agree with all of his antics thought.

    Best Shot Stopper we have had for a while now , if not ever :50:..His Antics with the Huns is always going to make the press than the game itself , that is bound to happen everytime we play them though , if it wasnt Boruc it used to be Lenny and so on and so on :celt_2:

    first off i think arturs easily the best keeper we've had since bonnar - probably best in my lifetime.

    the bit about his mistakes being down to hangovers i wouldn't agree with but if i did i certainly wouldn't hold him in the same high regard that i do. cult status or not if a guy cant perform because of alcohol issues i certainly wouldn't want him near the team till he has sorted them.

    again i'm not saying i believe this to be the case with boruc just shocked that you find it acceptable that in your opinion our keeper has cost us points, including against rangers, because of hangovers

    no players bigger than the club and all that.

    Yes brilliant 2cd time around when older and more mature. Taking Borucs age into the equation I think he is already miles ahead of all the keepers I have saw at CP.

    Obviously his legend status is to do with his behaviour.

    He's a very good goalkeeper, good enough for any team in Europe IMO.

    but most people like him for his antics with rangers fans IMO.
