I don't see how anybody can claim he's seeking this out or that he's trying to take on the fame himself. He's done what most people probably would have done in the same situation. Expressed disappointment that the media isn't focusing on others, but at the same time not really being offended at fame.

 

he's absolutely no different from me, yet he's got enough money to get by for live now, he's living it up in the states, meeting famous people etc...

total *, for kicking a man on fire when he's down, and the media lap it up, he should be * jailed for assault.

 

FFS, where is your logic? "Aw aye, poor guy, he was kicked when he was down.. " The same man tried to kill plenty of innocent civilians. It's probably the least he deserved!

Honestly, some people are treating him worse than they would the guys who tried to bomb the airport.

Read my quote from him on the last page. He's accepted that, he's even unconfortable with it. Just because he likes attention and uses a situation to his advantage doesn't mean he's a bad guy as long as he knows other people were involved, which clearly is the case. I'm not saying hero worship the guy, I just think this demonizing he gets is a little perplexing, and I've read up on the situation a lot, both when it happened and just recently when he fell ill.

I think if he were a tim some people would be giving him a lot more credit.
