anyway if you were a judge what sentence would you gie the *.
if it was me id give them 10 years fine them and ban them for life for keeping them. so what would you do.i hate cruelty to animals its

I've seen it so many times. I've taken in stray dogs and cats. First dog was in a shocking state. Had been hacked with a machete all over by the looks of it. Great dog she was too. Second dog had open wound round its neck. Still got her too. Great wee thing. Funny how the animals chose us too. They must know.

As for the perpetrators, I'm not sure, but they def should be punished. Don't know how though. Castration's definitely too much, but they should be punished soemhow.

    Good post mate :50:

Im in full agreement with you. Is it not proven that a high percentage of young offenders that kill animals go on to be murderers etc? Im sure I read it somewhere.

Im all for the sentence, but, with scum like rapists and child abusers getting away with less time now and again, I cant see that happening

Its disgusting i know what you mean to many sick people out there these days and doing that to any animal is uncalled for a hefty fine and a jail sentence and perhaps treated like * see how they like it.

totally agree mate, any form of cruelty to animals should be punished in the same was as cruelty towards another human being is punished, afterall, we're just animals too. Someone wise, Ghandi i think it was, once said that "you can judge a society on how well they treat their animals"

10 tears is a bit much mate maybe a years sentence.I,d also name and shame the *.The fact is we are to light on these cowards at the moment and harder punishment should be issued ,as I,d bet most of these scumbags get off with a fine

    * bag ,coward,* springs to mind

Name and shame + a heavy fine, maybe ban them from having other pets would probs be a good punishment. I agree it's absolutely disgusting that some people actually treat animals this way.

Well in mate, my family took in a fair amount of animals, my mum is a social worker and when one of her cases who was a friend of hers for years was too ill to take care fo her dog we took in said dog and had it for years

In fact a few months ago we found a dog that was covered in what looked to be motor oil, we cleaned him up and he is still with us today.

great post mate, * hate animal cruelty.

the * should get 10 years and more, people actually throw their dogs from the high flats etc...

I have a black labrador, and when she was a puppy, their was a story in the news about a guy who through his girlfriends son's black Lab puppy from the top of the flats, because he fell out with her, sickening.

don't get me started on what people who hunt should get.

likewise, i wouldnt know where to start with the * that are cruel to animals.

i feel for them as they can NEVER tell you how they feel, regardless of their age. makes me upset when you hear stories of thugs sticking fireworks up cats *'s etc - makes me really angry! poor wee things - thinking theyre going to get stroked then stuff like that happens! its not right.

jail and a ban isnt enough imo. ggrrr

I'd sic my little animal rights/vegetarian sister on them. She's the sweetest thing most of the day but if she sees an animal mistreated she gets that crazed and wild look in her eye like, "wow she would probably kill that person if she could get her hands in him."
    That'd teach them.

Boy goes on zoo killing spree | The Sun |News

with this little scummy *, i would batter his * in, he's 7, so i would jail his parents.

the world sickens me, how can people do stuff like that, but even worse, how can he get away with it scot free because of his age.

absolutely disgraceful, definitely a serial killer when he's older.
