Never a punch, a slap at most but in my case i haven't gone as far as a push, mainly because i watched my mum get hit when i was younger blah blah blah :31:

If the wife was to hit me, I'd never hit back. Maybe just lock her in the cupboard for a few hours of so:icon_mrgreen:

This is the problem as I see it.

Some females think guys deserve a slap & some males think females deserve a slap - some carry it out & others don't.

Problem is when he or another guys ever hits you, do you really have any defense as you have a history of domestic violence yourself?

I hate it when women hit guys & then think the guys are out of order (both are out of order in my view) when they hit them.

You don't know the whole situation and I don't want to write abou it..
It was the first and the last time so far..
And it wasn't a slap in the face...

I'm not having a go & obviously this is a touchy subject.

I just hate the double standards surrounding domestic violence.

Nobody has really commented on your statement.

Imagine if one of the guys said:

"I've only ever hit a woman once, my former girlfriend. Believe me she deserved it. :56:

Oh & by the way I do boxing training & I'm pretty strong".

I'm almost certain that we would at least get a massive amount of abuse from the other guys on here & maybe even a ban.

    Maybe used some wrong words.
But IMO it's not a thread about domestic violence so I wasn't too serious

    The question was:

heard this on the radio the other day, if a woman hits a man, is she then 'fair game' to get hooked back???

And smiley :56:should be a line above

Never been hit off a woman, but I had a ned girl come up to me, unprovoked, and spit in my face. I didn't hit her. Instead, I grabbed her by the scruff of the neck, force her onto to her knees (firmly, not roughly) and tipped the entire tin of BRU I was drinking all over her head. Phone the coppers on an ex-neighbour for beating his wife. He knew it was me, but he also knew I was hoping he'd come around so I could leather him. My mother's cousin has just had her husband jailed. She left him and he has been threatening her. Police bust in his door and found a sawn-off shotgun primed and ready to go. What a *. It's unacceptable to hit a woman. Only in truly exceptional circumstances (life-threatening) can it be allowed.

on a serious note, no i havent hit a woman, been slapped and smacked before. but never fought back. would probably only be able to hit a girl is if they absolutely went pyscho i would have to do something obviously. for example if they started smacking folk with there heels or something

If a woman hits you hard enough to draw blood, or say with an object, then she's fair game to be knocked out:47:

its alright saying shes fair game if she hits the man first but is that entirely true??! men have a more powerful physical strenght than women so theres nothing quite fair about it! i do see were you guys are coming from that a woman shouldnt lift her hand to a man and vice versa but i think it all comes down to the circumstances of the sitution

Nope, a slap would do, and even thats would only be in harsh circumstances, just walk away or get * off, i'd probably be too numb to feel it anyway.

Lets hear sean connery's view on this
