Ive noticed that there are a fair few people on TC who aren't from Scotland or Ireland. So for all you bhoys n ghirls out there in the big bad world, how and why do you support Celtic?

I liked Henrik Larsson. I emulated him so much I was very close to getting dreads in high school. (I was forward and number 7 on almost every team I remember after watching him, I even had a white headband). Obviously it didn't work out as well for me as well as it did for him. :celt_2: Also, my family is of Highlander stock with a little Cherokee, Irish, English, Dutch, and German thrown in. Celtic seemed a more welcoming environment than the "British Only" hint I got from Rangers when I first started following football... despite Claudio Reyna playing for them. I liked him a lot.

Celtic is wellknown here because of Dziekanowski (my childhood times idol :52:) Żurawski and Boruc of course!)
Few months ago I've red an article in polish newspaper about OFD (titled something like "Holy war in Glasgow") and could't understand what the * is going on with these riots - are all these people nuts???
That was my starting point to become tim. :86:
Watched some games, surffed the web and here I am! :celt_2:

    Thanks * I'm not a hun!

I always loved Scotland and Celtic when i was 13 i promised myself i would see Scotland and my best team. When i was 19 i was working in Holland and met my wife she's scottish. So my dream came true now we live here got 2 bhoys and we are all Celtic mad. Im more of a celtic fan now than my own home team. :shamrock:
