The age old argument. Its generally accepted that he an drift in and out off games, be completely ineffective.

But then theres the magic moments we'll remember long after hes gone.

And he was good in the last game. Hmmm....Do you think that may be to do with the fact that opposition teams have different tactics regarding certain players and maybe Aberdeen players were told to cancel Naka out the game. Just a thought!

Don't you mean was? I hope you do anyway because WGS singled him out as our best player at Killie last week and I agree. He's been on good form. Having said that I wouldn't play him away in europe. We need more workman like players for those games imo.

I felt the team needed battlers today. Naka isnt one of them, we missed robson. Hartley if brought on earlier would have done a job for us i reckon

Glenn Loovens was our worst player today.

i agree, however for the price we paid for him he should be doing far more, imo he gave the ball away far too many times.

thought his first touch was amazing today.

thing with Naka is, he's set himself such high standards, look at zidane, he was hardly in games, but the times he was in a match, he ran the show, same as Nakamura.

    He's a luxury player.

He's young, he's showing potential. Thats why we paid the money for him.

Nakamura does seem to drift out of games sometimes but always puts in some good passing and crosses IMO.

The fact is Naka is one of the players who can change the game in a flash. He is one of our match-winners.

When things arent goin too well he tends to disappear

This has been an issue for sometime now, but up until the start of this season who could we have dropped him for? Brown Robosn and Harltey can all play there but i think we're all agreeded there much more effective in the middle.

With the signing on Maloney now it gives us options - and I'm pretty sure I'll get pelters for this - I think he'll soon lose his place in the team, mearly because of the form of McGeady and Maloney. He is luxuary but he can change games in the blink of an eye, wether Stach decides he wants that or peolpe who can contribute through out but questionably dont have ability to change the on there own.

I think our future lies with Maloney and McGeady on the wings, be it Tuesday, next week, next month or next year. I'm not against him playing in the middle but it should only be done if he is playin alongside Hartley/Crosas. Both of them provide a platform to go and do his magic, and allows him to less concerned with defensive issues.

I think we'll find out alot about ol' Ginge's plans for Nakamura, by his team on Tuesday. I don't think he should play, but he probablly will.

    Hail Hail. Keep The Faith

I agree. Naka has a similar economy in his play to Zidane. That doesn't mean he's lazy, just that he doesn't run after the ball like a headless chicken.

He was rather poor yesterday but he's been in good form of late.

yeah i seem to find naka can be really effective some games with great passes, keeping posession well and with pieces of magic although he can drift out of games depending how physical a team can be!

Comparing Naka to Zidane is absurd.

Naka has his downsides i.e. pace, agression, strength

But he is worth his place in the team simply because he can turn a match on its head with one kick of the ball, not many players can do that.
